  2. This release of DVCopy, 0.99, is a very big bug fix for many bugs that
  3. existed in 0.50. Some of the bugs were so critical (and so dummy, btw)
  4. that caused DVCopy to be totaly unusable.
  5.  
  6. This version has no real new features, unless you are registered.
  7. DVCopy took many efforts to write, and even more to debug and test.
  8. Please register it, and support it (and me ;-).

  10. Now, for the changes....

  13. *   DVCopy 0.99 - Changes/Fixes from 0.50:

  15. -   The annoying bug that caused tons of people to have 0-sized files
  16.     copied is fixed.

  18. -   DVCopy did not parse well dest. directory name, that ended with
  19.     backslash (i.e. DVCOPY A:. D:\SUBDIR\). Now it does...

  21. +   {+} Registered-Only Feature: DVCopy can optionally now copy the
  22.     4DOS/NDOS Description of the files together with the files
  23.     themselves, just like 4DOS/NDOS would of done with their internal
  24.     COPY. This feature will be disabled on unregistered versions of
  25.     DVCopy.

  29. *   DVCopy 0.50 - Changes/Fixes from 0.20ß:

  32. +   External configuration added, to allow setting default parameters.
  33.     Configurable parts are Sharing-Under-DV, Sharing-OutSide-DV and
  34.     Floppy protection level. Configuration can also integrity check
  35.     DVCopy, install registration key, and print registration form.

  37. +   You can now set DVCopy's performance (how much power will it give to
  38.     DESQview). This parameter is called "Floppy Protection Level", and
  39.     can be defined from either configuration or DOS Environment Variable
  40.     "DVCOPY".

  42. +   You can now specify target file name, and not only directory. Also,
  43.     supports target file name that contains wildcards.
  44.  
  45. -   DVCopy will try to recover from non-fatal errors in opening files,
  46.     and continue to next file - if any.
  47.  
  48. -   DVCopy will no more ignore cases where disk is already full, and
  49.     will not continue write 0-sized files.
