ALARM (c) 1991 John Ruzicka
This DesqView program sounds an alarm at whatever time you set.
To use the program:
Copy the AM-DVP.PIF file into your DV subdirectory.
If you have a 286, 386, or 486 PC:
Copy ALARM.EXE into your C:\UTIL subdirectory. (If you do not
have a UTIL subdirectory, you can copy ALARM.EXE to any
other subdirectory and use the change a program feature of
DesqView to tell DesqView where to find the ALARM program).
If you have an XT:
Delete ALARM.EXE. Rename ALARM88.EXE to ALARM.EXE and follow the
procedure above.
Choose the alarm program from the main DesqView menu. Enter the hour
and press return, and then enter the minute. If you enter an invalid
time the program will terminate. The time must be entered in 24 hour
format (i.e. 2 pm is 14).
The alarm will go off at the time you set, and a small window will remind
you the alarm is set. To stop the alarm from going off, simply close
the window.
You can set multiple alarms to go off at various times.
This program is SHAREWARE.
If you register this program you will receive DIALARM, a program that
will dial a phone number at a predetermined time. This is useful for
giving friends wakeup calls.
