The APCAL Personal Calendar is extremely easy to use because the screens are
set up in formats you are already familiar with. For example it contains
monthly calendars with day blocks in which you can type notes like a wall
calendar. Appointments set up like most appointment books, simply type appt
next to time. Configure appt times to match your schedule. Appt features
include: move, copy, delete, search and more. Quick scan mode where
you can quickly display appts for the coming days or find an open time slot.
Popup reminder of appointments. Year display, appt and calendar printouts
and more. Gamma Software-Shareware $35.

The first step is to change to the drive and directory containing the
software. For example enter commands like the following at a DOS prompt.
c:
cd \apcal
If you installed the software to a different path these commands must
be changed accordingly.
Then you should run the setup program which will modify your
autoexec.bat to load the alarm handler. It displays the lines that need
to be modified and will make the modifications if you request it to. To
run the setup program type the following command.
apsetup
More information on the setup program is contained in the manual. The
next paragraph describes how to print the manaul.
To run the main program type the following command.
apcal
A copyright screen will display briefly and then the shareware registra-
tion screen. To print the manual for this software press the down arrow
key twice to highlight "Print Manual" and press Enter. If you simply
want to continue on to the rest of the program highlight "Continue" and
press Enter.
The "Getting Started" section of the manual gives a quick overview of the
program. The sections following the "Getting Started" section detail the
features of the program.
