- "The record display/update screen works just like the browse screen but"
- "you are viewing the datas contained in a record instead of the records"
- "contained in the current group. You navigate in the same manner with"
- "the up/down arrow keys, the pageup/down keys, the home/end keys and"
- "the return key. When you press return you move into the data display"
- "instead of accessing the record."

- "The dialog box is busy listing the functions and options available at"
- "the present time. If you are editing an alpha segment you can use the"
- "right/left arrow keys, the home/end keys, the insert/delete and back-"
- "space keys; your normal P.C. editing keys. Pressing escape will blank"
- "the display and have the effect of emptying the field."

- "If you access numeric fields you may use the calculation functions to"
- "add, subtract, multiply or divide the current value. You may perform"
- "any number of these functions; you get everything except a tape."

- "The display screen can also be used to view on-screen reports. The"
- "right and left arrow keys are HOT when you are viewing the records."
- "They immediately read and display the previous or subsequent record in"
- "the group. The arrow keys won't work if you have accessed a field"
- "by pressing the return key, have used create or are entering a record."

- "To set up an on-screen report, first record a MACRO to establish the"
- "data you wish to see and install the proper I/O group for viewing the"
- "data. When your MACRO ends move to the first of the file, press return"
- "then press the right arrow key until the speaker beeps."

- "To exit the record display and return to browse you may use WRITE QUIT"
- "or CREATE. The functions in this screen are fewer so the F-keys were"
- "not used. To access a function on this screen you press the first"
- "letter of the description; to get QUIT press Q."
