BICAT1ST: Developed By Dale Fedorchik, Line Of Sight Productions
07-Jan-92 Version 4.0
First Beta Version complete for the new Wildcat 3.02
IbmCom Routine by Wayne Brown
Writes to Bimodem.cfg file by Dave Krause
Comm Interface by Dave Krause
* Note: Needless to say with the change in Wildcat's Data
structures this is a total re-write of the 2.xx version.
Some of the features that were in the 2.xx version have
been removed until I am sure that they are working as
they should.
14-Jan-92 Version 4.01
Bug Fix Version of 4.0, It slipped pass me during final
production. If you had the home directory set as the dir
for Node Information File in Makewild then everything was
ok, otherwise got a "Can't find FileArea.Dat" error. That
has been corrected. Also Bimod.Bat file must change to the
home directory before running the bicat conversions. I
made the change in the batch file included.
17-Jan-92 Version 4.02
Made some changes in the code to take care of somemore
problems of finding certain files, BICAT.### and BIMODEM.###.
Also reworked the comm routine for better compatability with
certain brands of modems.
21-Jan-92 Version 4.03
Found one last bug, that only allowed BiCats to operate on
Node #1. "I feel so stupid" This has now been corrected.
25-Jan-92 Version 4.04
Re-Vamped setup of utilities, and believe that all bugs that
have been reported are corrected. Added a lot of extra internal
features.
07-Feb-92 Version 4.05
Was having problems with Bicats finding files under lantastic
operation, corrected this by setting enviroment variables in
cat.bat and then having Bicats retrieve those variables for
certain paths needed. Added alternate paths to Bimodem.### file.
Added a comm delay routine to code to try to combat certain
systems having problems at the "save to ?" routine. Trimmed
down the memory requirements a little.

Some of the features that were in the 2.xx version have

14-Jan-92 Version 4.01
Same as above except tightened up the code a bit and changed
a routine or two error checking wise. If you try to run
this locally it will return a "Can't find Bicat.###' error.
This is because without a real modem on the other end, the
carrier is sensed as dropped and Bicat1st never completes its
mission of creating a bicat.### file.
17-Jan-92 Version 4.02
Made some changes in the code to take care of somemore
problems of finding certain files, BICAT.### and BIMODEM.###.
Also reworked the comm routine for better compatability with
at 2400 baud.
21-Jan-92 Version 4.03
As above in BiCat1st, Found the routine that was only allowing
Bicats to operate on Node #1 and corrected it.
25-Jan-92 Version 4.04
Re-Vamped setup of utilities, and believe that all bugs that
have been reported are corrected. Added a lot of extra internal
features. Added CatScan feature for virus scanning.
07-Feb-92 Version 4.05
As with BiCat1st now using enviroment variables in the cat.bat
to find certain paths need that were somehow being hidden when
using lantastic. Corrected a bug in code that if file failed
scan it was deleting to much kb from users record. Changed
scan routine to use your normal ScanFile.Bat batch file to
scan uploaded files.

07-Jan-92 Version 4.0
First Beta Version complete for the new Wildcat 3.02
Various Parts of the Code By Dave Cody
* Note: Needless to say with the change in Wildcat's Data
structures this is a total re-write of the 2.xx version.
NOTE: This is the fifth version of BiCats I am releasing since
Wildcat 3.0 has been released. I am thankful to all that
have used BiCats in the past and especially to those who
have registered. It's you folks that make the countless hours
behind this damn machine worthwhile.
I know it took awhile, but for reasons beyond my control
this is the first that I could get these out to you. Please
accept my appologies. I think I got all the bugs out.
Please keep me posted as to any problems you may find.
