MsgPro - High performance MeSsaGe PROcessing system.
Version 1.30.2
Beta Docs for Opus 1.20 compatible version
Copyright June 16, 1991
Bruce Wilson (at fidonet 3:770/101.5)
This version allows operation with DOS 5 but it may or may not work however.
The following command line params have been removed or changed.
-O<[+]opus_system_path> Is removed.
-U<[+]user_dat_file> Is removed.
-p<l | h | u> is changed to -p<l | h>
You no longer need to specify users lastread pointers for sorting (-s)
and keep unread (-u) options. Their use is now implied by defining a
LREAD.DAT
In the configuration file the following are removed -
System_dat
User_dat
There is now a new config verb - Opus_LRead. Normally you would use it
like so :
Opus_LRead LREAD.DAT
If you are running OPUS barefoot and don't have an areas.bbs the best
way to use MsgPro is to create a dummy areas.bbs file for it.
I have never seen Opus 1.20, so I need some feedback on the success or
failure of this version, to carry on with further development.
Please include the following in any bug report.
1. MsgPro version used.
2. DOS version, including PC or MS.
3. Any error messages generated by MsgPro.
4. The relevant part of the log file if appropriate.
5. A description of the problem.
