  17. What can the ADDER door for you? Supply your users with a way to
  18. access Dave Wendling's Enquirer Door. With the Enquirer ADDER
  19. your users will be able to add their own headlines to Dave's
  20. great door with ease. This will or should increase involvement in
  21. the door for the user is now a part of it.
  22.  
  23. Features ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

  35. Installing ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  36.  
  37. First of all, copy all of the files that came with the archive to
  38. the directory in which Dave's Enquirer Door is located.
  39.  
  40. Included with this door is a control file. It is a straight
  41. ASCII text file that tells the ADDER door what kind of BBS you
  42. have, your name, ect.. You MUST edit this file with any standard
  43. text editor before running the door. After you are done editing
  44. just save the file as ADDER.CTL, and you should be all set.

  46. Also included with this door is another ASCII text file called
  47. BADWORDS.TXT. This is where you add the words that you would like
  48. the ADDER door to reject when the user enters a headline. Place
  49. only one word on a line, and do not leave a blank line at the end
  50. of the file. For instance:

  52.   Example of BADWORDS.TXT:
  53.    JERK
  54.    DORK
  55.    FARTHEAD
  56.    CRAP
  57.        ^--- save your text file here and do not press enter
  58. again.

  60. *** If you don't care about swears then just delete BADWORDS.TXT

  62. One last ASCII text file that is included with this package is a
  63. file called BADUSERS.TXT. Just enter the users real name in
  64. capitals followed by an enter. Again do not press enter on last
  65. line or program will crash.

  67. *** If you don't have bad users then delete BADUSERS.TXT

  69. Commandline Parameters ──────────────────────────────────────────

  71.  These are switches that you use when you load ADDER.
  72.  
  73.  /L - Log on locally (To test out program)
  74.  
  75.  /Nx - Node number, where x is the number. This is required for
  76.        BBSs such as RemoteAccess where in it's drop file
  77.        DORINFOx.DEF, a node number is required. So node 2 on ra
  78.        would be DORINFO2.DEF and the switch would have to be /N2
  79.  
  80. /P - Path to BBS drop file. This is where your BBS writes it's
  81.      door file. This is required unless you want to copy the
  82.      door file to the ADDER directory everytime you run it. An
  83.      example would be:  ADDER.EXE /PC:\RA
  84.  
  85.      Oh ya, while a user is on line Press ALT-H for a list of
  86. stuff you can do while the user is online.
