  147.  The BBS's above will always have the most current version of the DISP
  148.  software available. Also, in some cases, it is possible to request the
  149.  newest versions with a standard file-request (ask your Sysop). On most
  150.  of the mentioned BBS's, you can request the newest version by Freq'in
  151.  for the 3-letter product-code (MTA) and NEW, so MTANEW, XFDNEW, QFVNEW
  152.  and so on.

  154.  The actual DISP-HQ is point 2:512/100.5, but this is a closed system
  155.  and can not be accessed from the 'outside'). You CAN address netmail to
  156.  this point though !

  158.  Becomming a beta-tester and/or support-node
  159.  ───────────────────────────────────────────
  160.  If you think that beta-testing DISP-software (MTA, FileDoor, QFV, RFW
  161.  and so on) is something for you, then do the following:
  162.  
  163.  Zone 1,2 and 5
  164.  --------------
  165.  - Write a LETTER (NOT a netmail/echomail message) to the address above,
  166.    telling WHY you want to be beta-tester and/or support-node;
  167.  - Tell something about yourself, what you have done sofar in the area
  168.    of beta-testing;
  169.  - Tell something about your system (hardware, running software);
  170.  - Tell me that can work according to the rules mentioned below (*);
  171.  - Tell me your node-number;
  172.  
  173.  Netmail/Echomail messages that deal with the question to become a
  174.  support/beta node are (in general) not answered.
  175.  
  176.  You will get a written answer from me. There can be three cases:
  177.  - You are accepted;
  178.  - Your on the 'waiting' list. I keep the number of testers and
  179.    support-nodes low. When some node whishes to stop the testing
  180.    and/or support, the next one from the list is asked again;
  181.  - You are not accepted;
  182.  
  183.  Zone 3,4 and 6

  185.  As above, but you can also send me a netmail message (2:512/100 or
  186.  2:512/100.5 under Rob van.hoeven). We are still in big need of beta
  187.  testers and support nodes in these zones.

  189.  (*) rules for beta-testing/support node follow below:
  190.  
  191.  - You must come and get the newest beta-versions AND release version
  192.    yourself. The frequency is depending on the zone. In general, at
  193.    least once a week;
  194.  
  195.  - You must support the DISP-echo;
  196.  
  197.  - You can be a beta-tester without support but you can't be a support
  198.    node without being a beta-tester;
  199.  
  200.  - You must agree to a set of rules that are send to you when the deal
  201.    is closing;
