  4.     These two programs, from PC COMPUTE, work together to make a nice
  5. little Format Shell that lets you choose the disk size, and drive, to format.
  6.  
  7.     Mformat.com was mformat.bat which was compiled with bat2exec.com to
  8. make it a .com file for faster execution.
  9.  
  10.     All you have to do is copy the files to a directory that is in your
  11. path and type mformat. You will be asked what size disk you want to format,
  12. and then which drive. You also have the option to back out by hitting ESC.

  14.     Mformat was originally written, in PC COMPUTE, to work with DOS 5.0
  15. and had the option of formatting the new 2.88 mg disks. This version works with
  16. DOS 4.01 and DRDOS 5.0. I have included the mformat.d50 which will need to be
  17. renamed mformat.bat for for use with DOS 5.0. If you have Dos 5.0 use the .bat
  18. file and discard mformat.com. Sniff.com is needed for proper operation of either
  19. the .bat or.com version.
