  32.           the best under $100.00 productivity enhancement to AutoCAD that exists 
  33.           today! You will receive the SOURCE CODE and manual when you register.

  35.           The utility requires AutoCAD Release 10 or 11.  We find running any 
  36.           kind of Autolisp program on a system without at least a 386 processor 
  37.           inefficient and slow. If you are making a living using AutoCAD, we 
  38.           suggest you spend your money upgrading AutoCAD to at least release 10c 
  39.           on a 386, then, purchase the DRAFTSMAN'S COMPANION.

  49.           What does the Draftsman's Companion do?
  50.  
  51.           The Draftsman's Companion provides a set of utilities that make 
  52.           AutoCAD less prompt and input device intensive. The Copies, Moves, and 
  53.           Stretch commands allow you to simply move, copy or stretch by 
  54.           distances without specifying from and to points. For instance if you 
  55.           use the HM (Horizontal Move) the routine will prompt you to select 
  56.           your entities and then you provide a distance (EX: -1) which would 
  57.           move the geometry one unit to the left. The layer commands allow you 
  58.           to manage layers without remembering the cryptic commands that AutoCAD 
  59.           uses, typing "N" gives you the AutoCAD layer dialog box. The PT 
  60.           command puts points where you need them. How many times have you 
  61.           needed a point located 5/8" horizontally from your last point. FC 
  62.           finds the center of any two lines or line segments. Then use the Osnap 
  63.           node option to find it.

  65.           The one letter commands "L" and "E" for Line and Erase are tremendous 
  66.           time savers and well worth the registration fee alone if you do not 
  67.           already have something like it. By reducing the most needed commands 
  68.           to two letters you will find yourself doing many things faster once 
  69.           you become familiar with the names. It does not take long to memorize 
  70.           them. Paste the Quick Command Guide somewhere so you can quickly see 
  71.           what you are looking for in the beginning.

  80.           For those unfamiliar with DOS, attach to your disk usually C:

  101.           thirtysomething  macros at one time. The program has been coded to
  102.           load all the programs from a directory called DC on the current
  103.           drive. The sequence to loading the software from the DC directory

  151.                     without leaving AutoCAD. Scans the drawing and provides

  153.                     select from a screen menu and builds the template file.

  298.           Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before
  299.           buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it,
