  9. * SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  10.    SYSTEM:     386 or higher
  11.    MEMORY:     512K RAM free.
  12.    GRAPHICS:   VGA color graphics
  13.    DOS SYSTEM: MS-DOS 5.0 or higher
  14.    WINDOWS:    MS Windows, Win95 or higher. Run in full screen mode.

  16. * OPTIONS:
  17.    SOUND CARD:  Soundblaster compatible
  18.    JOYSTICK  :  Joystick is supported

  20. * TO START: Type SNOW <Enter>, use the arrow keys to select an episode,
  21.   select Start Game from the main menu.
  22.    F1 ......... for brief help
  23.    Ctrl ....... Jump
  24.    Alt ........ Throw ring
  25.    Esc ........ Exit the game.

  27.   To change the default settings select GAME SETTINGS from the main menu.
  28.   For a quick demonstration, select "Demo".

  30. * WINDOWS 95:  A DOS shortcut, SNOW.PIF, and icon, SNOW.ICO, are included.
  31.    1. Click the Right button over this DOS shortcut icon.
  32.    2. To change the icon, select "Properties", "Program", "Change Icon",
  33.       "Browse" and find the SNOW icon in the current directory and then
  34.       press OK.

  36. * DOCUMENTATION:  Please read file SNOW.TXT for a full game description.
  37.   This program will save a configuration file SNOW.CFG on disk, and
  38.   will update the top score file SNOW.SCR.  A hard disk is recommended.

  42.   only episode 1.  The complete version includes all nine episodes and
  43.   cheat codes for unlimited rings and health points to get even higher

  47.   1. In the Palace Garden: catch butterflies, avoid trolls and crows.
  48.   2. Attic Cleanup: dust off the spider webs, avoid spiders and pumpkins.
  49.   3. In the Forest: catch rabbits and avoid hunters, worms and owls.
  50.   4. In the Lake: avoid frogs and crocodiles as you cross the lake.
  51.   5. Little House: avoid spiders, mice, dogs and plate-throwing scarecrow.
  52.   6. In the Mine: help the dwarfs pickup gems and rubies in the mine.
  53.   7. In the Castle: rescue the dwarfs. Avoid ghosts and dragons.
