AutoScript 2.0 [AUTOSC] (Larry Michaels, reg. fee: $40) is a 37k TSR which
can record your keystrokes and play them back as if though you were typing
them. You can use it to perform various tasks such as clearing the screen,
generating sounds, deleting files, and more. AutoScript also provides screen
blanking and an expanded keyboard buffer.
CEnvi for OS/2 1.007 [CENVI2] (Brent Noorda, reg. fee: $38) is a C
interpreter for OS/2. Small programs, such as searching a hard disk for a
specified file, are written into batch files which call the interpreter.
CEnvi runs programs in DOS, Windows, OS/2, NT, and Unix environments.
Config 5.0 [CFG_HW] (Howard Williams, reg. fee: $0) allows you to create a
colorful menu of up to 25 different autoexec.bat and config.sys files and
the associated path and files. Requires EGA/VGA.
Clock 3.52 [CLOCK] (Ronald Q. Smith, reg. fee: $10) replaces the DOS
internal clock, providing automatic DST conversion, control of your BIOS
clock and battery clock, adjustment for clock drift and more.
Cluster 1.0 [CLUSTER] (John De Palma, reg. fee: $0) helps you understand
hard drive sectors and partitioning.
DOSmenu 4.1b [DOSMENU] (Skip Bremer, reg. fee: $40) is a menu system for
networks and single systems.
DOSmenu 4.2 [DOSMNU] (Skip Bremer, reg. fee: $40) is a menu system for
network and single systems. It can translate NetWare menu files.
REXX Ergonomic Reminder 1.0 [ERGO] (David Richard, reg. fee: $0) creates a
distinctive beep sound every hour to remind workstation users to take a
short break from their work.
Eurokeys 2.0 [EUROKEYS] (Jean-Franτois Larvoire, reg. fee: $20) provides an
easy way to type European characters on American keyboards. It supports DOS
and Windows.
FlashLED 1.2 [FLASH1] (R. Dimick, reg. fee: $0) is a small 1k TSR which
uses the computer's LEDs to indicate disk drive activity.
ForDo 1.0 [FORDO] (Tony Ingenoso, reg. fee: $0) lets you execute a command
on a series of files which match a specified file mask.
GameMenu 1.0 [GAMEME] (Fred Tanaka, reg. fee: $0) allows you to create a
menu for the games (or other programs) on your system through the use of a
plain text file describing the name of the program and it's path. Up to 30
programs can be listed in the menu.
Graffix 2.1 [GRAFFIX] (Steven A. Brown, reg. fee: $40) is a TSR that
captures a graphics screen directly to disk in either GIF or PCX format.
NEW: extends the screen-capture capabilities to Microsoft Windows.
HMA 1.0 [HMA] (Tony Ingenoso, reg. fee: $0) reports on the amount of HMA
space left over when DOS is loaded with DOS=HIGH. This space can be used by
TSR's and device drivers. C source code included.
IconDOS 1.7 [ICONDOS] (EFD Systems, reg. fee: $25) is an application
launcher for DOS similar to Window's Program Manager. NEW: added a puzzle
game, revised IconEDIT, and added PIM features.
ITB 1.4 [ITB14] (Jim Hughen, reg. fee: $35) records/plays back key strokes
used to start programs. NEW: added more functions and configurable number of
events.
KeySaver 1.0 [KEYSVR10] (HFK Software, reg. fee: $20) is a 6K TSR that
automatically types into an application (eg: word processor) canned text
from specified files. This saves repetitive typing and prevents typing
errors.
KeyToggle 1.27 [KEYTG127] (Samual Kaplin, reg. fee: $6) allows you to set
scroll lock, caps lock, insert, and num lock keys at the command line or
from batch file.
LegRoom 2.0 [LEGROOM] (Phil Grenetz, reg. fee: $35) is a TSR utility which
allows you to shell to DOS from virtually any application and reclaim almost
all of your conventional memory for running large programs. It even works
with programs that don't have a built-in DOS shell feature. Legroom can also
convert any application into a TSR.
$20 Logic Analyzer 1.0 [LOGV20] (Robert G. Brown, reg. fee: $10) provides
the testing software and instruction on how to build a probe assembly for
testing the printer ports of your computer.
MarxMenu 2.45 [MARXMENU] (Mark Perkel, reg. fee: $63) is a DOS menu
programming language that is easy to use.
Menu Master [MNUMSTR] (Kwabena Mireku, reg. fee: $25) is a menu program
with graphics and special effects. It allows you to choose fonts, character
sizes, colors, and icons for your selections. Each selection may have its
own font, password, parameter message and icon. Other features include text
mode support, up to 10000 selections, up to 50 submenus, user tracking mode,
file locking, memory resident mode, file manipulation, and text editor.
MemWatch 0.1(beta) [MWATCHTI] (Tony Ingenoso, reg. fee: $0) is a 1k TSR
which reports on how your system memory is being used, including the use of
EMS, XMS, Int 15, DPMI, and VCPI. It will reset after each invocation.
Assembly source code is included.
Playback 2.4 [PB24] (RSE Incorporated, reg. fee: $35) captures your
keystrokes, including the delay between keystrokes, and lets you play them
back in a variety of ways. NEW: set up a delayed launch, use other key files
in the interim, and the launch will still go off as scheduled.
PCS Windows 4.0 [PCSW40] (Jonathan D. Stanley, reg. fee: $20) is a hard
disk menu system which uses pop-down menus, hot-keys, and mouse support. It
also includes a calculator, date book, directory lister, file finder, and
more.
PC Time Standard 2.01 [PCTIME] (Mark Bowler, reg. fee: $25) sets your
system clock by calling the NIST.
DOS Phantom 2.9 [PTM229] (P2 Enterprises, reg. fee: $40) is a task
automation utility. NEW: additional hot key variations, allows you to adjust
the number of keystrokes before automatically writing to a file, support for
9 string variables, allows you to perform directory searches from within
Phantom scripts, and allows you to play melodies from a Phantom script.
HPFSTime [QHPFS] (Ira J. Minor, reg. fee: $10) generates a list of files
that meet the specified date and time stamp criteria, using OS/2's HPFS file
system. It will maintain the dates and times that files were created, last
accessed, and when the files were written.
Questor 1.0 [QUESTOR] (Doug Farren, reg. fee: $15) is a configurable DOS
menuing system wich allows you to create and move time, date, text or
program items. It also contains a screen blanker, and unlimited sub-menus.
Remind 3.4 [REMIND] (Tom Donnelly, reg. fee: $20) is an appointment and
date reminder program.
VShield 5.55v109 [VSHIELD] (McAfee Associates, reg. fee: $25) is part of
the McAfee anti-virus package. It scans programs as they are run for virus
signatures and validation codes added by ViruScan. NEW: detects all the
major viruses checked for by ViruScan.
SC&P 1.03 [SCP103] (Christopher J. Noyes, reg. fee: $30-50) captures text
mode screens and converts them to bitmapped graphics.
Screen Minder 1.0d [SCRMDR] (Communications Network School, reg. fee: $25)
is a combination screen saver, disk security, DOS and program shell and
text file editor. It also contains a modem program.
StarMenu 3.1 [SM31] (The Suisun Software Company, reg. fee: $25) is DOS
menu system which allows you to organize your favorite programs in a
pull-down menu format. It features mouse support, configurable desktop, as
well as a calendar, calculator, and a telephone and address book database.
StarMenu also supports multiple users in a network environment.
Simple Menu System 1.0 [SMS] (Jay Raab, reg. fee: $15) is a DOS menu system
which allows you to categorize your programs into pull-down menus.
Snooper 3.10 [SNOOPER] (John P. Vias, reg. fee: $39) reports your
computer's configuration and operating characteristics. NEW: Adds detection
of 700 more MicroChannel cards, more computer types, fax modem, disk caches,
Sound Blaster/Adlib/Roland MPU-401, DOS Protected Mode Interface, Virtual
Control Program Interface (VCPI), ANSI device drivers, several VGA chipsets,
virtual 86 mode, CD-ROM drives, video memory installed on VESA cards,
several brands of ROM BIOS and more.
