  3. CLOCK is a set of related shareware programs that give you complete control
  4. over the calendar (battery-protected) clock and your DOS/BIOS clock.  They
  5. provide automatic handling of daylight savings time and time zones, support 
  6. many older clocks not supported by later DOS releases, and provide additonal
  7. functions to control your clock environment.

  9. If uploading to other bulletin boards, please use CLOCKnnn.EXE as the file
  10. name (where nnn is replaced by the version number such as 353 for 3.53).
  11. I am forced to use CLOCK.EXE on CompuServe because of the 6-character file
  12. name limit, but it does confuse people as to what the version is.

  31. CLOCK.DOC may be viewed online or printed.  To print: set your printer for 66
  32. lines per page and COPY CLOCK.DOC PRN.

  34. Please read CLOCK.DOC for registration information.  Registration is $10 for a
  35. single system usage license.  For a $25 license fee, you will get a copy of 
  36. the source code and the document in WordPerfect 5.1 format.  You may also
  37. register through CompuServe (GO SWREG and use ID 104) but the charge there is
  38. $12 to cover the CompuServe fee.  CompuServe also does not offer any way to
  39. for me to provide a discount through their service nor to provide you with
  40. a source license (sorry, they are convenient in many ways but only handle a
  41. single case).

  44. The general fee schedule is:

  46.  2 -  5 copies               $8 each
  47.  6 - 14 copies               $7 each
  48. 15 - 24 copies               $100 per site (includes WP document)
  49. 25 - 49 copies               $200 per site (includes WP document)
  50. 50+ copies                   $250 per site (includes WP document)
  51. Unlimited corporate license  $500 (not limited to a single site, includes
  52.                                    source license)

  54. Purchase orders gladly accepted.  You will receive a "net 30" invoice and a
  55. license.  Sorry, no credit cards.

  57. With the site and corporate licenses, you need not inform me of the number of 
  58. copies in use.  You are free to make your own copies and distribute the
  59. software as you see fit within the single location or corporations as long as 
  60. you stay within the maximum number of copies.  The site and corporate licenses 
  61. include the right to use the software in portable PCs and employee PCs used 
  62. off site but they all count in the total number of copies.
