  11. Mylar Sheet And Punch Card Designer V2.0S (MSAPCD) is a fully  
  12. functional SHAREWARE program, distributed on the understanding  
  13. that after a maximum evaluation period of four weeks, users of 
  14. MSAPCD pay the one-off registration fee of 15.00 (British pounds) 
  15. if they continue to use the program.  In return for your honesty, 
  16. you will be sent the registered users' version of MSAPCD (which
  17. has no 'registration nagger' to bother you), a printed manual, 
  18. and be entitled to technical support.

  20. MSAPCD2S.EXE and READ.EXE are both copyright of Clive Alexander
  21. West.  Both programs, after evaluation of MSAPCD, may be used
  22. solely by the REGISTERED user, unless written permission by me is
  23. given  otherwise.  If you do not wish to continue using MSAPCD
  24. then you are requested to erase the contents of the disc, or pass
  25. it on to someone else who may be interested in the software.

  27. To register, just print out the file REGISTER.ME,

  31. fill the form in, and send your registration fee.

  33. In order to keep track of where copies of this program are being
  34. distributed, please would you write the name and address of the
  35. shareware vendor/distributor you received the program from.

  37. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SOFTWARE ON THE MSAPCD SHAREWARE DISC IS  
  38. SUPPLIED WITHOUT WARRANTY, ON AN "AS IS" BASIS.

  40. A file called MSAPCMAN.UAL is on the distribution disc and can be
  41. viewed with the file view utility program called READ.EXE.  This
  42. help file can also be displayed from within MSAPCD by pressing
  43. X (for eXtras) and R (for Read manual) - you will need to have 
  44. READ.EXE and MSAPCMAN.UAL in the current directory for this to work.   
  45. Alternatively, you can use the MANUAL.BAT batch file:

  49. Please make a copy of the distribution disc as soon as possible using 
  50. the operating system DISKCOPY command.

  54. When you have made a back up copy of the disc use this to invoke
  55. Mylar Sheet And Punch Card Designer, NOT the original.

  57. If you have a PC with a hard disc, then you may want to use the
  58. supplied batch file called KDINSTAL to set up a special directory
  59. and subdirectories for MSAPCD.

  63. Once you have set up the MSAPCD system files, you can invoke the
  64. program by typing MSAPCD2S at the DOS prompt.

  73. If you are viewing this file (READ.ME) with the aid of the READ  
  74. program supplied on the distribution disc, and you want more 
  75. information about MSAPCD before you get started, just press L to
  76. load a new view file, then enter MSAPCMAN.UAL as the file name.

  78. The MSAPCMAN.UAL file may be printed out on a printer.

  84. .HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
  85.  
  86. MSAPCD V2.0S has been written to run on an IBM compatible DOS-based
  87. microcomputer using a VGA monitor - or EGA monitor with 64K+ video
  88. memory.  The use of a printer that is compatible/emulates an Epson 
  89. or IBM dot matrix printer is necessary for graphics printing, 
  90. although designs may be printed on most printers using text mode.
