DPD Alphanumeric Pager 1.0 [ALPHPG] (John Speth, reg. fee: $18) uses
TAP/TNPP protocol to send messages to alpha-numeric display pagers via a
Hayes compatible modem.
Beepster Jr. 2.03 [BEEP203] (Warren Associates, reg. fee: $50) sends alpha
and digital messages to personal pagers from a computer using a 1200 baud
modem.
CISPCB 1.0 [CISPCB] (Martin Vallevand, reg. fee: $0) converts the long and
short file descriptions used by Compuserve to a format similar to that used
by standard bulletin board systems.
Comm [COMM] (Software Corner, reg. fee: $0) it's a 70K TSR that performs
file transfers in the background. It supports Xmodem, Zmodem and Ymodem.
Turbo C source is included.
Com-And 2.93 [COM_AND] (R. Scott McGinnis, reg. fee: $50) is something
different - a full-powered communications program that has accessory
applications to be used with it, including a visual conferencing program,
and telecom bridge and chess programs, complete with playing boards.
CTS Serial Port Utilities 1.2 [CTSSPU] (Computer Telecommunication Systems,
Inc., reg. fee: $20-50) is a set of Com Port testing and control utilities
for consultants, PC support personnel, and anyone with a comm problem. It
detects common problems such as more than one port at the same address, PCs
which can not use Com4, IRQ conflicts, shared IRQs, serial ports which
cannot generate IRQs and unusual BIOS port assignments. It IDs all serial
ports by UART type, including T/Ports and emulated UARTs, address, and
actual IRQ used.
DSZ [DSZ] (Chuck Forsberg, reg. fee: $25) are external protocols which
allow most communications programs to use the ZModem, YModem, or XModem
protocol to transfer files. NEW: corrected zipfile authentication problems
and serial I/O has been tuned for more efficient operation.
DSZEXE [DSZEXE] (Chuck Forsberg, reg. fee: $25) is the EXE version of the
author's external protocol program DSZ.
Disk Express 2.31 [DXP231] (Albert J. Shan, reg. fee: $33) allows a
diskette image to be created which can be transmitted over modems, networks,
etc.
FSLogin 1.2d [FSL12D] (Aad Slingerland, reg. fee: $135) is a full-screen
login utility for Novel networks. NEW: improved password entry and
functionality.
GSZ [GSZ] (Chuck Forsberg, reg. fee: $30) implements the ZMODEM file
transfer protocol.
HIT/Ansi (demo) 2.21b [HA221B] (Hansco Information Technologies, reg. fee:
$0) is a 49k TSR which allows a computer running under DOS to function as an
intelligent terminal to a host system running under Xenix or Unix. The
system allows you to toggle between DOS and the Unix terminal and the it
supports up to twelve multi-screens. This is a crippled version.
IO Test 1.0 [IOTEST] (Banksys sa/nv, reg. fee: $0) is a set of procedures
that will monitor and analyze the Input\Output system of your computer. The
results can be used to diagnose problems in a Network or in a program that
will simulate the I/O load of a workstation.
MIS Disk Audit 1.0 [MISAUD] (Joe Ueberroth, reg. fee: $5) is a network
file-auditing utility developed for use with Novell's NDIR command. Use it
to find files being left out on the LAN by exits from programs; find large,
infrequently used file names; look for all files created or modified in a
work day; and other network file management duties.
Net-Time 2.0 [NETIME] (G.W. Mays, reg. fee: $44) is a set of 2k TSR's which
allow the main computer in your network to broadcast the correct date and
time to the other computers in the network.
Odyssey 2.0 [ODY20_TR] (Trius, Inc., reg. fee: $95) is a communications
package with scripting language, built-in protocols, INT14 and NASI support,
terminal emulations, and more.
PC Blackboard 2.0 [PCBB] (Serial Solutions, Inc., reg. fee: $36) is an
interactive communication program which allows users to create drawings and
add text from the keyboard on a blank screen. Documents can be faxed to your
computer, displayed on screen, and annotated as desired. Requires a mouse
and a modem.
Simple Modem Dialer 1.0 [SMDIAL] (John J Speth, reg. fee: $5) is a Hayes
compatible modem dialer which can read numbers from a file or directly from
the keyboard
Silver Xpress Mail Reader 4.0 [SXR400] (Andrea Santos, reg. fee: $36) is an
off-line mail utility for BBS services which supports Internet and Fido
systems.
x-Cal3 3.16 [XCAL3] (Gary Beam, reg. fee: $133) is a network calendar
system for individuals, workgroups, meeting scheduling, etc.
x-Con3 1.35 [XCON3] (Gary Beam, reg. fee: $133) is a network contacts
management program.
x-File3 1.65 [XFILE3] (Gary Beam, reg. fee: $133) is a network file
management program.
x-Fone3 1.97 [XFONE3] (Gary Beam, reg. fee: $133) is a network phone
directory system.
x-Forum3 1.14 [XFORUM3] (Gary Beam, reg. fee: $133) allows easy-to-use
message conferencing among network users.
x-News3 1.32 [XNEWS3] (Gary Beam, reg. fee: $133) is a network news login
system.

communications program.
ZIP 1.7 [ZIP17] (Eric Meyer, reg. fee: $30) is a tiny, fast utility to
transfer files between two IBM compatible computers over an ordinary serial
cable connection. NEW: transferring files from all subdirectories and
support for the HP100LX palmtop.
