It allows you to train the computer to learn what you want it to learn.
Three sample networks are included.
Elmer 1.0 [ELMER100] (Joe Kasser, ASP; reg. fee: $45) is a tool for
demonstrating expert system techniques, or building any interactive
knowledgebase. An expert system provides information to people who do not
have access to an expert in the particular field.
ESIE 2.1 [ESIE] (Lightwave, reg. fee: $145) is an Expert System Inference
Engine. It lets you create and load files of information on a subject which
it can use in acting as an expert advisor on the subject.
-----Assembler
Assembler Editor 1.2 [ASMEDI] (Kip Irvine, reg. fee: $0) is a multi-window
assembler editor for use with any assembler. It allows you to use a mouse

assembling, linking, debugging, and setting configuration options.
BR136 [BR136B] (Gilbert Saint-Flour, reg. fee: $0) is the souce code to a
ISPF/PDF program that allows you to browse most VSAM, BDAM, and
multi-volume data sets.
Buffy's World 1.0 [BUFFYS] (John Jardine, reg. fee: $0) is assembler code
which illustrates how to write a TSR.
Huge 1.0 [HUGE] (Paul Carmichael, reg. fee: $0) demonstrates the use of
huge pointers in assembler. You can randomly access data across segments.
Source code and executable are included.
TimeStack 1.10 [TIMSTK11] (BE, Inc., ASP; reg. fee: $133) allows assembly
language programmers to document how long a function takes to execute, find
its worst stack depth usage, and check for stack imbalances.
---Updates: Assembler

table definitions for them.
B_TREE 1.0 [B_TREE] (J. Lerma Jr., reg. fee: $25) is the Basic source code
for implementing a pure binary tree data indexing structure for DBF files.
It is useful as an exercise on how indexing schemes can be implemented
around existing data formats.
BuffKey [BUFFKEY] (John De Palma, reg. fee: $0) is a data-entry line
editor. It lets you limit the number of characters to enter, beeps if the
user enters too many, allows any MS-DOS editing keys. It includes source
code, executable file and tutorial.
DoorWriter! 1.0 [DW13AQ] (Damar Enterprises, reg. fee: $0) is a door
writing library for QuickBasic 4.5.
Easy-Door Library 2.50 [EASYDOOR] (Martin Bouchard, reg. fee: $25) is a
doors development library for QB, PDS, and VBDOS. It features ANSI and
Avatar, supports COM ports 1 to 8, menu routines, box drawing, chat mode,
RIPscrip, and more. It is compatible with QBBS, RA, Telegard, Wildcat,
PCBoard, Genesis, and many others.
Free Palette 1.0 [FREEPAL] (S. Roepenack, reg. fee: $0) allows you to
adjust the colors retrieved using Basic's Palette command and will save
your changes as a BAS file.
GrayLine 1.0 [GRAYLINE] (Bob Dykeman, reg. fee: $0) is a Basic subroutine
which will print alternating gray bars across a portrait or
landscape-oriented page using the LaserJet III or later. It will then
return to the top of the page to print your text. The result is similar to
the standard greenbar computer paper.
Scrollbox for VBDOS DEMO [LISTBOX] (CC Advies, Doorn, reg. fee: $0) is a
demo of a fast .DBF-listbox/scrollbox for VBDOS. It uses CodeBasic and
PBclone to make a fast listbox to access the contents of a dBASE DBF
database. The code is reusable, so you could make it FoxPro or Clipper
compatible. Requires PBClone and CodeBasic for use in your own applications.
PB/Vision Lite 1.0 [PBVL10] (DSE Software Publishing, ASP; reg. fee: $25)
lets you create graphical and text 3D windows with working control icons
for PowerBASIC 3.0. It includes a PowerBASIC 3.0 compatible library,
examples, tutorial, and more.
PB/Workshop Test Drive 1.0 [PBWDEM] (DSE Software Publishing, reg. fee:
$25) is a working demonstration of a visual interface designer for
PowerBASIC 3.0. It can be used to create menus, forms, windows, help
screens, and more.
QLib 5.7 [QLIB57] (Douglas R. Herr, reg. fee: $25) is a library of
functions and subroutines for QB, PDS, and VBDOS. It provides programmers
with many additional functions and commands.
SavPic 1.0 [SAVPIC] (John De Palma, reg. fee: $0) will BSave and BLoad
four-plane graphics in screen 9, 12, or 13 using QuickBASIC 4.5 and the the
freeware program Picem, not included. Source code and two sample PCX files
included.
Server/Connection Objects 1.0 [SERVER] (reg. fee: $0) allows programmers to
connect and work with server databases without having to manage the
connection or work on the API call level. A program may have sessions with
multiple servers, and multiple connections to a server.
StarTrek 1.0 [STARTREK] (Joe Kasser, ASP; reg. fee: $15) is a tutorial on
programming techniques and a general understanding of programming languages
which will allow you to program a simple space game as you learn. The game
modules are written in BASIC with source code included.
SVGAPV 2.0 [SVGAPV20] (Zephyr Software, reg. fee: $35) is a high-res,
256-color graphics library for Microsoft BASIC PDS and VBDOS. It recognizes
more than 20 SVGA cards, and allows programming in 320x200, 640x480,
