  3. Welcome to Navigate with an Accent(TM).
  4.  
  5. This document contains installation instructions, 
  6. compatibility information, and other basic information that
  7. you will need for using this Evaluation version of Navigate
  8. with an Accent. We recommend that you print this document
  9. for handy reference.
  10.  
  11. SYSTEM AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
  12. To use Navigate with an Accent, you need the following:
  13. 1. PC 486 (or higher) with at least 6 MB of RAM (8 MB is 
  14. recommended).
  15. 2. Navigate with an Accent is compatible with Netscape
  16. Navigator 2.0 - 3.0, and with Netscape Navigator Gold
  17. 2.0 - 3.0. You must install and run Netscape Navigator
  18. before installing Navigate with an Accent.
  19. 3. You can run Navigate with an Accent on any language
  20. version of Microsoft Windows 95 (TM).
  21. 4. A full installation of Navigate with an Accent requires
  22. approximately 4.3 MB of hard disk space. You can reduce
  23. this amount during setup by choosing not to install
  24. fonts and Tool Tip languages that you will not need
  25. (see Installation below).

  27. INSTALLATION
  28. 1. Before installing Navigate with an Accent, you must run
  29. Netscape Navigator at least once.
  30. 2. To download Navigate with an Accent, follow the download
  31. instructions on our Web site.
  32. 3. The setup program gives you several installation
  33. options. Option 1 lets you choose which font language groups 
  34. to install. Option 2 lets you decide which Tool Tip languages 
  35. to install. Advanced Options is for users running more
  36. than one version of Netscape. 
  37. 4. The setup program automatically adds a bookmark 
  38. ("Load Navigate with an Accent") to Netscape Navigator. 
  39. Select this bookmark to run Navigate with an Accent.
  40. 5. The setup program also installs a program group called
  41. Navigate with an Accent. You can open Netscape together
  42. with Navigate with an Accent by choosing the Navigate
  43. with an Accent icon.

  45. EVALUATION VERSIONS
  46. This is a special Evaluation version of Navigate with an
  47. Accent. Use it to evaluate the product and decide if you 
  48. want to purchase it.

  50. This evaluation version is also an opportunity for you to
  51. give us feedback on its features and functions. Please send

  55. Be sure to carefully review the online license agreement
  56. when you install Navigate with an Accent.

  58. This Evaluation version of Navigate with an Accent will
  59. cease to function after 30 days from installation. If you

  63. TROUBLESHOOTING
  64. Please read the following to avoid unnecessary difficulties
  65. in running Navigate with an Accent:
  66. 1. If you are using Netscape's "SmartMarks" add-on, close
  67. it before running Navigate with an Accent.
  68. 2. You cannot use helper applications and/or other plugins
  69. with Navigate with an Accent.
  70. 3. Navigate with an Accent does not support frames or java.
  71. 4. While running Navigate with an Accent together with
  72. Netscape Navigator Gold, you cannot use NetscapeÆs
  73. editing functions.
  74. 5. To exit View/Source, place the cursor in the Location
  75. box and press Enter. This reloads the page you were
  76. viewing.
  77. 6. When running this version of Navigate with an Accent on 
  78. the Hebrew language version of Windows 95, you cannot view 
  79. Hebrew or Arabic Web pages.

  81. ONLINE HELP
  82. This Evaluation version of Navigate with an Accent comes
  83. with online help in English. To access online help,
  84. select Navigate with an Accent Help from the Help menu.
  85. Check our Web site periodically for online help in other 
  86. languages and for any updates to the online help.
