.96 Beta A:
- Fixed change keyword routine so it doesn't hang when there are
no keywords.
- Added prompt instead of automatically aborting if a recipe was
too big while importing. Fixed bug where it reported the recipe
was too big when the file had more lines than the line limit.
- Fixed QBOOK.DT2 size problem. If it was > 64K new titles were
added on top of old instead of added to the end. The rebuild
option will be required to fix the data files if you had more
than 1000 or so recipes.
0.96:
- If ALL archive commands are blank, QBook will use the recipe
files in the WORK directory without compression. This is faster,
but uses a lot more disk space. Also prompts if the recipe file
isn't found to allow storage on floppies.
- You can specify the device/file at print time. It defaults
to the value entered in configuration. You can print to
screen if you want.
- the /I parameter goes directly to the configuration menu
without trying to init the data files.
- You can specify paths for work, data and archive files.
If an archive file is not found, you will be asked if you
want to retry (this allows you to change diskettes on floppy
systems).
- Option to clean up work files as a group instead of
individually
- Import now ignores case on begin/end markers. The title and
keyword tags can now be "TITLE:" "title:" or "Title:",
"KEYWORDS:" "keywords:" or "Keywords:"
- Delete key now erases input line if it is the first thing
typed
- Display specific recipe added to main menu
- Configuration menu added since there are now too many options
to fit on a single screen.
- You can now specify how many recipes to store in an
archive file. Naming conventions for files has
changed. QuikBook will convert the archives for you
if you change recipes/archive
- You can specify the amount of memory to reserve for
recipes. This is useful if you don't have enough
memory for QuikBook to load the archive programs.
- Import and Export file names are saved if they are changed
while using QBook.
- If the file TEMPLATE.QBK exists, it will be used as a template
for new recipes. The default new recipe template has been
changed to include a Keyword line.
- Fixed a minor bug with the HOME and END keys on the marked
recipe screen. Also, HOME and END now move to the first and
last RECIPE, not just the first and last PAGE. Scrolling while
displaying a recipe is now really fixed.
- Alt-K now allows you to add and delete as many keywords as
you want and updates the index only when you are done.
- Lots and lots of help screens, cross referenced and indexed
context sensative help.
- Fixed the BIOS write and snow check options.
- Error trapping for external commands.
- More that I have probably forgotten
0.95 Beta C:
- Added message telling how many recipes were imported
that is displayed on completion of import.
- Fixed a bug that caused hanging while scrolling
down when displaying a recipe.
- Fixed a bug that messed up the recipe display a little
when lines were longer than 80 characters in the recipe.
(The top lines would be scrolled off).
- Updated the documentation to provide more information on
how to add recipes, importing and exporting, and describe
the files that QBook creates.
0.95 Beta B:
- Added options for using BIOS writes (/B+) and for CGA
snow checking (/S+).
0.95 Beta A:
- Recipe page number moved to top of page to give 3 extra
lines per page.
- Fixed problem with recipe printing (wasn't feeding page
when complete).
