THE INTERSTATE TRAVELER
AUTHOR: David E. Jacobson (ASP) VERSION 1.1
1222 Harris Dr.
Bartlesville, OK 74006 REGISTRATION FEE: $29
(918) 333-7563
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Plan motor trips on the Interstate Highway System.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
A well-planned trip can not only save you time and money, but
can insure that your time is spent doing the things you want to do.
THE INTERSTATE TRAVELER is designed for planning motor trips across
the contiguous United States using the Interstate Highway System and
roadways you add to the maps.
For each day of your trip, you specify an origin city, each
intermediate city or highway junction along the way, and a final
destination. Stops for meals, gas, rest, visits, and overnight
stays can be scheduled as needed. Once an overnight stay is
planned, you can print an itinerary and an estimate of your expenses
for the day.
You can add cities, towns, and highways to the screen maps and
have access to any place in the country. These new features can be
used in the current run of the program only, or added to the perman-
ent data files.
The program also displays individual maps of 40 major cities.
With these, you can find routes around a city or locate places you
want to visit in them. They show major highways; features, such as
lakes and rivers; selected points of interest; and population and
weather information.
