  4. This is the shareware version of Figment.  It is about a quarter
  5. of the capacity of the registered version, but it should be ample
  6. for you to develop your ideas sufficiently to make a purchase
  7. decision.

  9. This package can be distributed provided it is done free of
  10. charge except of course for a nominal copying/handling fee. 
  11. Please distribute the package intact as "Figpkg.exe".  Zip'd and
  12. Arc'd versions are circulating and missing things like
  13. documentation and/or the demo.  Figpkg is itself compressed about
  14. 50% so you are not gaining much by zipping the file.

  16. Figment.doc is about 125 pages of documentation.  Load up your
  17. printer and print it.  Demo.sdf is a sample story written as an
  18. adventure game.  Demo.log will play the demo story like a player
  19. piano, but read Hint.doc to learn how.  Of course some people
  20. don't like to know who-dunnit until they've read the book.  In
  21. which case, don't read hint.doc.  Order.frm gives ordering instructions.

  23. Stories written with Figment can be distributed.  Figlet.exe,
  24. available from Patch Panel, provides the run-time environment to
  25. distribute your material.  See also re_cav.exe, a sample story
  26. written by a Figment user.
