  2. SYMPTOMS may include coughing of blood, chronic coughing, difficulty in
  3. breathing, chronic sputum production. Usually the coughing is in patterns.
  4. CAUSES are a chronic dilation of the airways. It may be congenital but most
  5. often develops after severe pneumonia in early childhood.
  6. TREATMENT. Control infection. Antibiotics, postural drainage. Surgery.
