  1.                               Hyperthyroidism
  2. SYMPTOMS may include loss of weight with increased appetite, sensitivity to
  3. heat, tremors, weakness, staring, protrusion of the eye, sweating, headache,
  4. restlessness, overactivity, abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhea.
  5. CAUSES are unknown but it involves excessive thyroid gland activity.
  6. TREATMENT. Antithyroid drugs, surgery may be prescribed.
