  2. SYMPTOMS. Usually mild jaundice (yellowing of the skin) will occur.
  3. CAUSES. A benign congenital defect. The liver fails to handles the bile
  4. pigment called bilirubin correctly. Only 5 percent of population affected.
  5. TREATMENT. A careful diagnosis is very important. No treatment is needed.
