  2. SYMPTOMS will appear as a large or small lump in the thigh. This will be
  3. about an inch below where the thigh joins the trunk.
  4. CAUSES may be from lifting, straining at stool or coughing that weakens the
  5. tissue and allows a loop of intestine to push out. More common in women.
  6. TREATMENT. Wearing a truss or surgery may be required. Danger of gangrene.
