  2. SYMPTOMS include swelling of the eyelid, tearing, burning and redness, loss
  3. of lashes, itching, sensitivity to light, sensation of foreign body in eye.
  4. CAUSES may be from a bacterial infection or an allergy that causes an
  5. inflammation of the eyelid margins.
  6. TREATMENT. Medicated drops, antibiotic ointment and warm compresses.
