  6. chestnut; thence with the A.  line S 76 W 8 poles to a stone where a poplar
  7. formerly stood; thence S 59 W 22 poles to a white oak and maple; thence N 15 W
  8. 11 poles to a hickory and maple; thence S 89 W 37 poles to the beginning.

  10. There is almost surely a typograhpic blunder in this description.  If I were
  11. interested in this property, I would trace the deeds back at the courthouse.
  12. Note that a title search is similar, but a lawyer only examines the validity of
  13. the title to the property.  A title search does not condern itself with the
  14. land description nor the location of the property.  This is land surveying, and
  15. is the realm of the professional surveyor.

  17. The two tracts of Example3 and Example 4 are supposed to total 40 acres, more
  18. or less.  That's what the deed says, and it must be right because some lawyer's
  19. secretary typed it that way.
