  2. Below is a complete help for the function
  3. keys and menu.
  4.  
  5. Help on function keys:
  6.  
  7.   F1-This help screen.
  8.  
  9.   F2-Top
  10.      Go to the 'TOP' of the database
  11.      according to the CURRENT INDEX.
  12.   F3-Bottom
  13.      Go to the 'BOTTOM' of the database
  14.      according to the CURRENT INDEX.
  15.  
  16.   F5-Filter
  17.      Allow you to limit the database to the
  18.      STATE you wish to view or print. CURRENT
  19.      INDEX will automatically be set to CITY
  20.      when FILTER is in use. The 'F5-Filter'
  21.      will light up when FILTER is active. To
  22.      remove FILTER, enter a blank string.
  23.  
  24.   F9-DELETE record!
  25.      Use this with C A U T I O N !
  26.      This function is not on the Screen Menu.
  27.      Allow you to delete the current record
  28.      on the screen. It will then reindex the
  29.      database. THIS WILL TAKE A WHILE due to
  30.      the large database.
  31.  
  32.  F10-Print listing of records to a printer,
  33.      file or screen. Listing is printed
  34.      according to CURRENT INDEX and FILTER
  35.      value. If no FILTER is set, the program
  36.      will print the whole database listing
  37.      according to the CURRENT INDEX.

  39. Main Menu Help:
  40.    Find
  41.      Find the exact string according to the
  42.      CURRENT INDEX. For example, if the
  43.      current index is a zipcode, then the
  44.      only string allowable to be entered is a
  45.      string of numbers. If the entered string
  46.      does not exitst, this function will try
  47.      to provide the user the closest option
  48.      it can get.
  49.  
  50.    Search
  51.      Will search all fields for a match to
  52.      the entered string. This method will
  53.      take a little longer than the regular
  54.      'Find' function due to scanning the
  55.      entire fileds in the database.
  56.  
  57.    Index
  58.      Allow you to switch to a different INDEX
  59.      available for the database. In this case
  60.      is CITY and ZIPCODE depending on which
  61.      component you want to 'find'. When
  62.      browsing a FILTERED database, set the
  63.      index to ZIPCODE to achive faster
  64.      performance.
  65.  
  66.    Browse
  67.      Allow you browse 14 records at once
  68.      according to the CURRENT INDEX. It is
  69.      handy if you would like to see a group of
  70.      records and compare them.
  71.  
  72.    Edit
  73.      Allow you to edit CURRENT RECORD
  74.      displayed on the screen. If you find
  75.      record is wrong or misspelled, please
  76.      correct it using this function. Once
  77.      editing is done, the record will be saved
  78.      automatically.

  80.    Add
  81.      Allow you to add a new record to the
  82.      database. Use this function to add new
  83.      city and zipcodes. You have to press
  84.      <ENTER> every time after you fill in the
  85.      fields. Hitting <ESCAPE> while editing
  86.      will disregard all the new data and it
  87.      will not be saved to the disk. At the
  88.      STATE field, enter a 2-letter state
  89.      abbreviation. If you are not sure what
  90.      the state abbreviation is, press <F10>
  91.      key to select from the menu.

  93.    Quit
  94.      Easy enough! Get out of this program.
