  1. Thank you for your interest in DataBoss, a program which we

  3. ZIPfile contains the DataBoss Demonstration Program. To run the
  4. demo, just run the file, DBDEMO.BAT.  (Note: You may see a refer-
  5. ence to the file DBDEMO.SSF in that batch file and notice that
  6. it is not present.  It is compiled in the DBDEMO.DFL file, but
  7. must still be explicitly stated on the command line.)

  9. DataBoss quickly and easily generates one hundred percent
  10. complete source code ( Turbo Pascal, Quick Pascal or Turbo C )
  11. for entire database applications including menus and reports.
  12. Your databases may be fully relational and multi-user with nested
  13. menus, password protection and custom context sensitive help
  14. messages for individual screens, windows or fields. Very
  15. sophisticated screen and window procedures permit a variety of
  16. boxes, borders and shadowing, for high perceived value in the
  17. finished product.

  20. which permits the developer to design, compile and test all
  21. aspects of the database under development without leaving the
  22. program. Designing a database is as simple as any "environment"
  23. database system. Paint one or more screens or windows, locate and
  24. then define the fields using a data dictionary or by "filling in
  25. the blanks," and then DataBoss will generate the appropriate
  26. source code ready for compiling. Best of all, the finished
  27. application belongs exclusively to the developer with no run-time
  28. license required.
