Scrolling Mouse Fields.

You can use the Mouse to move or scroll...
If the screen has a "Scroll Light" arrow at the Top or Bottom of

arrow. This has the same effect as pressing the appropriate Up or
Down key on the keyboard.
Moving the Mouse Cursor to a selection and pressing on it
will select it.

About Attributes.
Attributes tell your video adapter what color to display the text
on your screen. They are listed as a two digit hexadecimal number.
(hexadecimal is base 16 of numbers 0 - 9 and A - F).
The First Digit represents the background. The Second Digit can be
between 8 - F which indicate a Blinking Color. All Blinking Colors
are converted to their non-blinking counterpart.
The Second Digit represents the Foreground. If the Second Digit
is between 8 and F it Generally represents a bright color.

F2 you can verify that the file exists already.

Table Name.
Attribute Tables are used to tell the program how to handle each

Font (Pixels Deep).
This picks the Size of the font to use when converting a file to
a graphic or printing. Usually 16 pixels high is used for 25 row
printing and conversions and 8 pixels high is used for 50 row
printing and conversions, though you can use the others as you need
to correct the proportion or distort an illustration to fill a space.

Resolution.
This picks the resolution that is used. When converting to a Graphic
file, it doesn't usually have an effect, though it can have an effect
when a file is printed. When printing this will tell the printer which

Dot Repetition Factors.
This specifies how each Pixel is Multiplied giving better resolution.
Try to get your file or printout to the exact size by using a
combination of these and resolution. This will give the best
reproduction.
A Screen can be blown up or reduced using this feature. Use these
values particularly when printing to help proportion the image to
the proper size. Press Space To Select.

Gray Pattern Image File To Use.
When you select a value in the Attribute Editing screen that is not
0% or 100% The program uses elements in these files to create the
gray tone image used. These are several different files matched to
the needs of the printer. HIRES will be the best choice when printing
on a Laser Printer, and FILE will be the best choice when Converting
to a file where the graphic will be dithered later when printing.
NOTE: the Number in the end of the file extension must match the
value in the Horizontal Dot Repetition Factor.

printer after printing the page. If you want to print more than

This picks the Graphic File Format that is used. The beginning of the
name following the . is the default extension. For example .TIF on the

Extra Space in Pixels Around Each Line of Screen.
This allows you to replicate the bottom pixel or the top pixel of every
character cell to add extra space between lines. This is normally
0 in each, but you can add a little 1 or two to each which can
be used to help fill out a space or make a proportion fit better
and look better. These shouldn't be used too much because they will
effect the quality of characters such as ░░, used in backgrounds and
scrollers.

Image Location Horizontal and Vertical.
This allows you to print or position the printout to exactly where you
want it on the paper. This has two modes Absolute and Relative.
If you begin the position with a '+' the position will be relative either
the left margin or the vertical position.
You can enter these in Either decimal Inches, i.e. 1.25", Fractional
inches i.e. 3/4", or Points and Picas i.e. 1p6 or where 1p6 indicates
1 pica and 6 printers points, Where there is 6 picas to the inch or
72 points to the inch and 12 points to the pica.

Attribute Table To Edit.
ATTRIBUTE TABLE TO EDIT. Press the Space Bar to select a file name

Reset SCRCAP TSR.
This Menu Choice Resets the SCRCAP TSR Program, to it's initial
state. All earlier captured screens that were not saved were lost.
This does Nothing when you have SCRCAP1.EXE loaded. The Other
SCRCAP programs save more than one screen in memory, so this is
necessary. With SCRCAP1, each time you press the Hot Key combination,
the screen in memory is overwritten.

Preview.
This button will do a Graphic Preview to your graphics screen.
If you have an EGA, VGA or Hercules Screen and the Graphic is more
than 640 pixels wide, you can select between two parts of the screen.
Press '1' or LEFT, you will select the Left Portion of the screen.
Press '2' or Right and you will select the second Section of the
screen. If you press ESC, the Preview will end. Pressing any other
key, when the preview is finished, you will exit the preview screen.
If you are using a Hercules adapter, you must run the program
MSHERC.COM first before starting SCP.
