  1.                       REGISTERING  MERGEIT (TM)
  2. You may try out MergeIt for up to 30 days. At that time I hope
  3. you would decide whether you want to continue using it.
  4. If you do want to continue using it, I ask you to register it.
  5. To encourage this, I have kept the registration fee low.
  6. If you have questions or find possible bugs in MergeIt while trying
  7. it out, I'd like to hear from you...you can reach me thru Compuserve,
  8. the "Well" Conference, or by US mail.

  10. My shorthand name on the "Well" is "dld".

  12. Benefits of registration:
  13.   a) The registered version of "MergeIt" allows the merging of up to
  14.      5 image sections. If you have need of merging >5 sections please
  15.      specify what your needs are when registering.
  16.   b) The output image filename is not limited to ImageOut.PCX.
  17.   c) You will receive the latest, up-to-date version of "MergeIt". A version
  18.      which will run faster than the trial shareware version. (See
  19.      "Enhancements Under Development" below.)
  20.   d) You receive the handy utility "ScanIt" which simplifies image scanning
  21.      and merging. See description in "MergeIt" documentation.
  22.   e) You receive information and a utility to make personalized help
  23.      files to display while trimming.
  24.   f) Free technical help, upgrades at minimum expense (<$10). I may be
  25.      reached through Compuserve, the "Well" Conference, and voice phone.
  26.   g) A good conscience...supporting people who write software that other
  27.      people find useful.

  29. Registered MergeIt Enhancements Under Development:
  30.  1) Speeding up of display/trimming process.
  31.  2) Automatic trimming to correct the slight mismatch between adjacent
  32.     image scans (caused by fluctuations in scanning lines/inch).

  35.   The registration fee is $25 (Calif. residents please add $1.75 for
  36.   sales tax.). This includes shipping and handling.
  37.   Please specify whether you need a 5.25" floppy or a 3.5" floppy.
