  4.         Welcome to GOLDEN GOAL, the new international football management
  5. simulation and the first release of Apple Tree Software. To find out a little

  18.         This game is shareware.  This means you may use it for upto 21 days
  19. then if you wish to continue using this game you MUST register it.  By
  20. registering you will not only be supporting Apple Tree Software you will
  21. also be sent the full version of GOLDEN GOAL.  The full version allows you
  22. to play as many full seasons as you wish, save and load games, bring in new
  23. talent and improve your stadium.  For just £6.50 (+P&P) you could have all
  24. these.  For full details please see the in game registration screen and the
  25. file order.frm.

  27.         While all the files in this shareware version are copyright of Apple
  28. Tree Software, you may distribute them provided you make no changes to them
  29. and you supply all the files.  In fact we encourage you to do so.

  31. The Game
  32. =========

  34.         A world league has been set up consisting of 96 top countries from
  35. around the world.  They have been divided into 6 divisions, each with
  36. 16 teams and there are also 3 cups to win. (In the shareware version only 64
  37. countries are included.)
  38.         
  39.         You have been appointed manager of your chosen country, and your 
  40. instructions are simple - BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS!

  42.         The FA have given you complete control of finances, team selection and
  43. ground improvements however all sponsership and TV money is shared out as
  44. prize money after every cup round and season.

  49.         Can you last 50 years without getting the sack???

  53.         As this is the shareware version you cannot save or load games nor can
  54. you bring in new talent nor can you improve your stadium, you will also find
  55. some annoying delays which are not in the full version.
