  12.   NotePlay is an interactive sight reading program for the IBM PC family
  13.   of computers.  The purpose of the program is to develop beginning note
  14.   reading skills in a challenging and entertaining environment.  The
  15.   program has been designed to appeal to a wide range of ages.

  17.   NotePlay only deals with note (pitch) reading.  Rhythm and dynamics are
  18.   not considered.  We are planning on releasing a rhythm game in the
  19.   coming months.  The game is composed of 36 levels of challenge, ranging
  20.   from simple one-hand melodies to simple triad chords with accompaniment.

  22.   This demo version only offers the first skill level of drills.  In
  23.   addition, player options are not stored to disk.

  26.   TO INSTALL/RUN the program:

  28.     You may run the program directly from the floppy disk or install it
  29.     onto your hard disk.  To install onto your hard disk, simply copy all
  30.     files from the floppy to a sub-directory on the disk.  For example,

  32.       On your hard disk:

  34.         C> MKDIR NPLAY
  35.         C> CD NPLAY
  36.         C> COPY A:*.*
  37.  
  38.     To run the program, simply type NPLAY at the DOS prompt.  The first
  39.     time the program is run, you will be asked about your hardware setup.
  40.     The information you provide is saved to disk.  To modify your settings
  41.     after the initial installation, simply run the SETUP utility that
  42.     comes with the program.
