  4. Installation
  5. ============

  7. This is a windows program and requires at least a
  8. 286 processor to run. The program runs under windows 3 and
  9. windows 95. Install as follows:
  10.  
  11. 1. Type THEORYZ to decompress and extract all of the required files.
  12.    You may already have done that to be reading this file.
  13.  
  14. 2. From windows select File and Run from the program Manager Menu
  15.  
  16. 3. Type the directory name where the files are followed by SETUP 
  17.    and press Enter e.g.
  18.  
  19.    C:\CSERVE\DOWNLOAD\SETUP
  20.  
  21. 4. At the "Install From" prompt type the directory name where the
  22.    file are and press Enter e.g.
  23.  
  24.    C:\CSERVE\DOWNLOAD
  25.  
  26. 5. At the "Install To" prompt just press Enter to accept the default
  27.    directory.

  29. The program requires a copy of VBRUN200.DLL in your WINDOWS/SYSTEM
  30. directory. This file is available on compuserve from the forum MSBASIC 
  31. search the library for the filename VBRUN2.ZIP

  33. Registration
  34. ============

  36. Theory is a shareware program. You can register either by printing
  37. the registration form and sending it directly to the author or via
  38. CompuServe if you have a CompuServe account. To register on Compuserve 
  39. select the forum SWREG, select the register shareware section. 
  40. The registration number for the Theory program is 6265
  41.  
  42. Once registered you will receive your own registration number that 
  43. can be entered into the program, this prevents the warning messages 
  44. that start after 30 days.

  46. The registration number will work for all future versions of this program
  47. so there will be no-need to re-register to use any future releases.
  48.  
  49. The registration is not limited to a single computer, so schools need
  50. only register one copy.
