This file provides information for Shareware Distributors and Disk

Distribution
The complete license agreement is contained in the file LICENSE.TXT.
The following paragraph is an extract from the license agreement
regarding the distribution of the Shareware version of WinZip:
You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
donations, for any such copies, however made; and from distributing
the software and/or documentation with other products (commercial or
otherwise) without prior written permission, with one exception:
--> Disk Vendors approved by the Association of Shareware Professionals
--> are permitted to redistribute WinZip, subject to the conditions in
--> this license, without specific written permission.
Suggested One Line Program Description:
Create native Windows self-extracting ZIP files
Suggested Keywords:
WinZip Self-Extractor Extract SFX UNZIP ZIP Windows ASP
Suggested Description
Do you need to send files to end users who may not have an unzip
utility? If so, try WinZip Self-Extractor, an optional add-on for
WinZip. WinZip Self-Extractor creates native Windows self-extracting
ZIP files. End users without an unzip program can just double click on
a self-extracting ZIP file to unzip it with a familiar Windows
interface. A self-extracting ZIP file is an executable program that
includes your ZIP file and a small unzip program (less than 12 kb) that
will extract the contents of the ZIP file. Because no separate unzip
program is needed, self-extracting ZIP files are ideal for sending
software, documents, or graphic images to colleagues or clients who may
be unfamiliar with data compression.
Other Information
Requirements: Windows 3.1 or later, and a utility like WinZip to
create standard ZIP files.
Registration: $49 (includes shipping) to receive disk with latest
version and a license to create royalty-free
self-extracting ZIP files on one workstation.
