  7. ---------------------

  9. To install NovaBack for Windows 95, run the file "SETUP.EXE" from the
  10. installation diskette.  Click on Start, the run, then simply type:
  11.  
  12.         a:\setup        (If your 3.5" floppy drive is assigned as
  13.                          disk a:)
  14. or
  15.         b:\setup        (If your 3.5" floppy drive is assigned as
  16.                          disk b:)
  17.  
  18. Files are compressed, so the setup program MUST be run for a
  19. successful installation.

  58. Note about INI Files
  59. ------------------------

  61. NovaBack uses INI files to save program configuration in between
  62. sessions.  You should never have to use (manually edit/change)
  63. these files except in the following cases:
  64.  
  65.         CD-ROM DRIVES and REMOVABLE MEDIA
  66.  
  67.                 By default, NovaBack does not recognize the presence
  68.                 of removable media devices (it will never recognize the
  69.                 presence of the floppy drives A: or B:).  If you want
  70.                 NovaBack to recognize the presence of CD-ROM drives and
  71.                 other media that the program detects as removable,
  72.                 make the following change in "novaback.ini":
  73.  
  74.                         ignore removable media=OFF
  75.  
  76.                 If you don't have a "novaback.ini" file, simply
  77.                 select Options/Save Options from the NovaBack
  78.                 Menu Bar.

  81. Special Notes

  84. 1) File Open Error      You may note during a backup that a File
  85.                         Open Error message on a true type font
  86.                         file (*.TTF) during backup.  This is due
  87.                         to NovaBack using the font file.
