  18.          |    | composed incorrectly so I redid portions of it to make it

  28.          |    | somewhere) with the rest as improper samples, but fairly close

  30. DRAGNET2 |541k| A conversion of The Art of Noise's "Dragnet '88", from the
  31.          |    | albums "In-no-sense?  Nonsense!" (original mix) and "The Best
  32.          |    | Of (The Art of Noise)" (Both releases, '88 remix)  Sampled from
  33.          |    | the original song, and is extremely close to the original, with
  34.          |    | the exception of one instrument which supplanted one of the
  35.          |    | instruments (trumpets) that I couldn't sample properly.  The
  36.          |    | original version of this MOD that I also did before I had a
  37.          |    | sampler is also available, but is highly inferior, though half

  39. FLY      |310k| A conversion of Depeche Mode's "Fly on the Windscreen
  40.          |    | (Extended)" from the album "Black Celebration" (original mix).
  41.          |    | Sampled from the original it is very close, though some of the
  42.          |    | instruments sampled are rather rough.                    {NTSC}
  43. FUNKY45  |420k| A Conversion of Information Society's "Funky at 45" from the
  44.          |    | 12" Single for "Lay All Your Love On Me"  Sampled from the
  45.          |    | original, it is almost identical.                         {PAL}
  46. HACK1    |464k| A conversion of Information Society's
  47.          |    | "We Don't Take/Hack 1/Charlie X" from the album "Hack"  Sampled
  48.          |    | from the original it is an extremely faithful rendition.  {PAL}
  49. HARDCURR |663k| A conversion of Information Society's "Hard Currency" from the
  50.          |    | album "Hack".  Done almost entirely with sampled riffs, so it's
  51.          |    | really not that impressive.  It IS identical to the album
  52.          |    | version, though, except that to save space I cut out all the
  53.          |    | modem noise in the beginning.                             {PAL}
  54. JUSTCANT |147k| A Conversion of Depeche Mode's "Just Can't Get Enough" from the
  55.          |    | album "Speak & Spell"  Most samples taken from another version
  56.          |    | of this song done by someone else, but I added a few of my own.
  57.          |    | They are improper samples (except for one) but they are fairly
  58.          |    | close to the originals.  This is the Schizo Mix of the song,
  59.          |    | which is found on the album.  (as opposed to the single mix)

  61. LFO      |457k| A Conversion of LFO's "LFO" from the EP "We Are Back"  Sampled
  62.          |    | from the original, it's almost as identical as you're gonna
  63.          |    | get.  The bass melted somewhat after sampling, but that's to
  64.          |    | be expected, given the nature of the song.  Still, the bass is
  65.          |    | still quite strong in this MOD version.                  {NTSC}
  66. NIMBUS   |535k| A Conversion of 808 State's "Nimbus" from the album "Gorgeous"
  67.          |    | sampled from the original, the samples are a bit rough, but I
  68.          |    | did the best I could.  Still fairly decent, but not nearly my
  69.          |    | best work.                                               {NTSC}
  70. NOTHING  |369k| A Conversion of Depeche Mode's "Nothing (Zip Hop Mix)" from the
  71.          |    | album "Music for the Masses" (original mix).  Sampled from the
  72.          |    | original, the samples are rather quiet and there's a bit of
  73.          |    | ground static, but overall it's quite faithful to the
  74.          |    | original.                                                {NTSC}
  75. PLAN_9   |353k| A Conversion of 808 State's "Plan 9 (Guitars on Fire Mix)" from
  76.          |    | the album "Gorgeous"  Sampled from the original it's almost
  77.          |    | identical.                                               {NTSC}
  78. SANFRAN  |486k| A Conversion of 808 State's "San Francisco" from the album
  79.          |    | "EX:EL"  Sampled from the original it's a fairly faithful

  103.          |    | is actually another MOD written by Rimshot of Masquerade for
  104.          |    | the Democompo '93 in Germany last year.  I was bored one night,
  105.          |    | so decided to re-write it and remix it from scratch.
  106.          |    | Basically, I took an 8 minute song and turned it into an almost
  107.          |    | 13 minute song.  Most of it is exactly like the original, but
  108.          |    | there is plenty of my own stuff in there.                 {PAL}
  109. BETRDAYS |232k| A new (03/06/94) original composition, some of my best work to
  110.          |    | date.  A slightly different genre than my Lucid Dreaming MODs,
  111.          |    | but still of the same calibre.                            {PAL}
  112. CHAMELEO |115k| "Chameleon"  An original Techno composition.  Done while I
  113.          |    | was exploring avenues of MOD making, I did this mostly to see
  114.          |    | if I could write a hardcore techno piece.                {NTSC}
  115. COMEBACK |416k| "Come Back For More"  One of my "dancier" tunes, but still
  116.          |    | some of my better works.                                  {PAL}
  117. COMEBAK2 |422k| The new (09/12/94) 1994 remix of this original tune.      {PAL}
  118. CYFH     |292k| "Can You Forgive Her?  (MK-Dubmix)"  An original remix of this
  119.          |    | Pet Shop Boys tune from the album "Very".  Samples taken from
  120.          |    | the MK Remix and MK Dub.                                 {NTSC}
  121. EMOTIONS | 70k| "Emotions"  The very first original composition I ever did.
  122.          |    | Done back in mid 1990, it's a sort of New Age piece inspired
  123.          |    | by the second MOD I ever got in my collection called "Rainy
  124.          |    | Night" by Frederick Motte, as well as my sudden interest in
  125.          |    | the work of Jean-michel Jarre.                           {NTSC}
  126. FASTER   |118k| "Faster than Zero"  One of my more experimental MODs that I
  127.          |    | wrote while I was just starting to get into writing MODs with
  128.          |    | Noisetracker.  Sort of an alternative/technoish piece.   {NTSC}

  131. INFOHACK |487k| "Infohack"  Part two (part one has not yet seen completion) in
  132.          |    | "The Information Society Ultramixes"  An Ultramix featuring a
  133.          |    | blend of songs from the album "Hack", plus some of own original
  134.          |    | bits thrown in for good measure.  (Hence: Ultramix)  Samples

  136. INFOPEAC |540k| "Infopeace (Part 1)"  Part Three in "The Information Society
  137.          |    | Ultramixes"  An Ultramix featuring a mix of songs from the
  138.          |    | album "Peace & Love, Inc." plus, as usual, my own original

  140. INFOPEC2 |579k| "Infopeace (Part 2)"  Part Four in "The Information Society
  141.          |    | Ultramixes"  As part one, but different songs from the same
  142.          |    | album.  Samples from the original songs.                 {NTSC}
  143. LITEN_UP |209k| "Lighten Up"  An original techno/dance piece.  One of my newer
  144.          |    | compositions where I began to experiment with harmony and
  145.          |    | rhythm and a bit of funk.                                {NTSC}
  146. LUCID_DR |343k| "Lucid Dreaming"  An original composition that I think is one
  147.          |    | my best pieces to date.  An alternative piece (generally
  148.          |    | because I really don't know how to classify this one) with
  149.          |    | samples taken from a MOD called "The Beginning" which had
  150.          |    | beautiful samples, but which didn't even attempt to make good
  151.          |    | use of them.  So I did.                                  {NTSC}
  152. LUCID_II |374k| "Lucid Dreaming Part II"  The sequel to "Lucid Dreaming", it
  153.          |    | follows in its predecessor's footsteps while still being
  154.          |    | completely original.  Uses most of the same samples, though
  155.          |    | more have been added.                                     {PAL}
  156. LUCIDIII |380k| "Lucid Dreaming Part III"  The last part in the Lucid Dreaming
  157.          |    | triliogy.  Same samples as part II, but with a decidedly
  158.          |    | different sound.                                          {PAL}
  159. MAGICAL  |549k| "Magical Mix", a Megamix of 808 State songs taken from the
  160.          |    | albums "808 United: 90" and "EX:EL"  Samples taken from the
  161.          |    | original songs.                                          {NTSC}
  162. ONEINTEN |576k| "One In Ten (Sympathetic)", an original remix of 808 State's
  163.          |    | tune from the "One In Ten" CD Single (original from the album
  164.          |    | "Gorgeous")  Sampled from the "UB40 Vocal" and "UB40
  165.          |    | Instrumental" mixes, it's my second largest MOD.  And
  166.          |    | coincidentally, the running time of this remix is 8:08.   {PAL}
  167. TWOINTEN |621k| "One In Ten (Apathetic)"  The second original remix of this 808
  168.          |    | State tune, this one is based on the 7" and Original mixes of
  169.          |    | the song, with a bit of the Fast FON Mix thrown in among my own
  170.          |    | perks.  My largest MOD to date, but you'll know why it's so
  171.          |    | big when you hear it.                                     {PAL}
  172. REDCARPT |285k| "Red Carpet"  A sort of New Age piece I did a couple of years
  173.          |    | ago; it's not especially good, even I'll admit that, but it's
  174.          |    | the sort of song you'll either like or not.  Samples taken
  175.          |    | from a truly awful MOD called "Crimez of Hate" by someone who
  176.          |    | really hasn't a clue.                                    {NTSC}
  177. REMIX_OF |343k| "Remix of Darkness"  Oddly enough, this isn't a remix.  It's
  178.          |    | actually an entirely new techno/dance-ish piece done by me,
  179.          |    | but all the samples were from a MOD of a similar name that I
  180.          |    | can't quite remember.                                    {NTSC}
  181. SOMETHIN |518k| "Something To Do (Oil Stained Mix)"  An original remix of this
  182.          |    | Depeche Mode tune from the album "Some Great Reward"  Samples
  183.          |    | taken from the single mix, Metal Mix, and the snare drum was
  184.          |    | from another MOD.  (I needed one loud enough and solid enough
  185.          |    | to substitute for the real snare that I couldn't sample) {NTSC}
  186. STRANGEL |524k| "Strangelove (Sea of Dub)"  An original remix of this Depeche
  187.          |    | Mode tune from the album "Music for the Masses"  Samples taken
  188.          |    | from the single mix, Blind mix, Hijack Remix and Pain mix.
  189.          |    | It's gotten some  positive reviews, apparently!          {NTSC}
  190. SUBHUMAN |229k| "Subhumanity"  An original composition, sort of techno, sort of
  191.          |    | alternative, sort of New Age.  It's hard to classify.    {NTSC}
