- _______________________________________________________________________________
- Filename |Size| Description {Mode}
- ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ|ÿÿÿÿ|ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ
- 80808080 |399k| A sampled conversion of 808 State's "808080808" from the album
- | | "808 United: Ninety" Comprised entirely of sampled riffs;
- | | taken from the sample/graphics demo I wrote. {NTSC}
- BTWHEEL |110k| A conversion of Depeche Mode's "Behind the Wheel" from the
- | | album "Music for the Masses". Done with improper samples,
- | | since I did not have a sampler at the time. {NTSC}
- BLUEDRES |118k| A conversion of Depeche Mode's "Blue Dress" from the album
- | | "Violator". This was originally done by someone else but was
- | | composed incorrectly so I redid portions of it to make it
- | | sound more like the original. Improper samples. {NTSC}
- BLUE_MON |149k| A Conversion of New Order's "Blue Monday" from the album
- | | "Power, Corruption and Lies". Improper samples. {NTSC}
- CLOSE |462k| A conversion of The Art of Noise's "Close (To The Edit)" from
- | | the albums "(Who's Afraid Of?) The Art of Noise" and "The Best
- | | Of (The Art of Noise)" Sampled from the original song, it is a
- | | very faithful rendition. {NTSC}
- CBIC |133k| A conversion of 808 State's "Cbic" from the album "EX:EL".
- | | Two samples taken from the original song (found them
- | | somewhere) with the rest as improper samples, but fairly close
- | | to the original. {NTSC}
- DRAGNET2 |541k| A conversion of The Art of Noise's "Dragnet '88", from the
- | | albums "In-no-sense? Nonsense!" (original mix) and "The Best
- | | Of (The Art of Noise)" (Both releases, '88 remix) Sampled from
- | | the original song, and is extremely close to the original, with
- | | the exception of one instrument which supplanted one of the
- | | instruments (trumpets) that I couldn't sample properly. The
- | | original version of this MOD that I also did before I had a
- | | sampler is also available, but is highly inferior, though half
- | | the size. {NTSC}
- FLY |310k| A conversion of Depeche Mode's "Fly on the Windscreen
- | | (Extended)" from the album "Black Celebration" (original mix).
- | | Sampled from the original it is very close, though some of the
- | | instruments sampled are rather rough. {NTSC}
- FUNKY45 |420k| A Conversion of Information Society's "Funky at 45" from the
- | | 12" Single for "Lay All Your Love On Me" Sampled from the
- | | original, it is almost identical. {PAL}
- HACK1 |464k| A conversion of Information Society's
- | | "We Don't Take/Hack 1/Charlie X" from the album "Hack" Sampled
- | | from the original it is an extremely faithful rendition. {PAL}
- HARDCURR |663k| A conversion of Information Society's "Hard Currency" from the
- | | album "Hack". Done almost entirely with sampled riffs, so it's
- | | really not that impressive. It IS identical to the album
- | | version, though, except that to save space I cut out all the
- | | modem noise in the beginning. {PAL}
- JUSTCANT |147k| A Conversion of Depeche Mode's "Just Can't Get Enough" from the
- | | album "Speak & Spell" Most samples taken from another version
- | | of this song done by someone else, but I added a few of my own.
- | | They are improper samples (except for one) but they are fairly
- | | close to the originals. This is the Schizo Mix of the song,
- | | which is found on the album. (as opposed to the single mix)
- | | {NTSC}
- LFO |457k| A Conversion of LFO's "LFO" from the EP "We Are Back" Sampled
- | | from the original, it's almost as identical as you're gonna
- | | get. The bass melted somewhat after sampling, but that's to
- | | be expected, given the nature of the song. Still, the bass is
- | | still quite strong in this MOD version. {NTSC}
- NIMBUS |535k| A Conversion of 808 State's "Nimbus" from the album "Gorgeous"
- | | sampled from the original, the samples are a bit rough, but I
- | | did the best I could. Still fairly decent, but not nearly my
- | | best work. {NTSC}
- NOTHING |369k| A Conversion of Depeche Mode's "Nothing (Zip Hop Mix)" from the
- | | album "Music for the Masses" (original mix). Sampled from the
- | | original, the samples are rather quiet and there's a bit of
- | | ground static, but overall it's quite faithful to the
- | | original. {NTSC}
- PLAN_9 |353k| A Conversion of 808 State's "Plan 9 (Guitars on Fire Mix)" from
- | | the album "Gorgeous" Sampled from the original it's almost
- | | identical. {NTSC}
- SANFRAN |486k| A Conversion of 808 State's "San Francisco" from the album
- | | "EX:EL" Sampled from the original it's a fairly faithful
- | | rendition with a few rough spots. {NTSC}
- SNAPSHOT |333k| A Conversion of The Art of Noise's "Snapshot" from the album
- | | "(Who's Afraid Of?) The Art of Noise" Almost entirely sampled
- | | riffs, but it is completely identical to the original. (Which
- | | wasn't hard; the original was only one minute long, and it only
- | | took me a half an hour, from start of sampling to end of MOD)
- | | {NTSC}
- TECHNO |305k| A Conversion of 808 State's "Techno Bell" from the album
- | | "EX:EL" Sampled from the original it's a fairly faithful
- | | conversion, also with a few rough spots. {NTSC}
- THINGS |114k| A Conversion of Depeche Mode's "The Things You Said" from the
- | | album "Music for the Masses" Improper samples, but it is
- | | fairly close to the original. {NTSC}
- TIMEBOMB |570k| Sampled conversion of 808 State's "Timebomb (FON Mix)" from the
- | | album "Gorgeous". As with 808080808, this is entirely
- | | comprised of sampled riffs, and was taken from the second 808
- | | State sample/graphics demo I wrote. {NTSC}
- ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ
- ** Original Compositions, Remixes, Megamixes and Ultramixes **
- _______________________________________________________________________________
- Filename |Size| Description {Mode}
- ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ|ÿÿÿÿ|ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ
- 8MINUTS2 |198k| "8 Minutes of Truth (Blindfolded Mix)" "8 Minutes of Truth"
- | | is actually another MOD written by Rimshot of Masquerade for
- | | the Democompo '93 in Germany last year. I was bored one night,
- | | so decided to re-write it and remix it from scratch.
- | | Basically, I took an 8 minute song and turned it into an almost
- | | 13 minute song. Most of it is exactly like the original, but
- | | there is plenty of my own stuff in there. {PAL}
- BETRDAYS |232k| A new (03/06/94) original composition, some of my best work to
- | | date. A slightly different genre than my Lucid Dreaming MODs,
- | | but still of the same calibre. {PAL}
- CHAMELEO |115k| "Chameleon" An original Techno composition. Done while I
- | | was exploring avenues of MOD making, I did this mostly to see
- | | if I could write a hardcore techno piece. {NTSC}
- COMEBACK |416k| "Come Back For More" One of my "dancier" tunes, but still
- | | some of my better works. {PAL}
- COMEBAK2 |422k| The new (09/12/94) 1994 remix of this original tune. {PAL}
- CYFH |292k| "Can You Forgive Her? (MK-Dubmix)" An original remix of this
- | | Pet Shop Boys tune from the album "Very". Samples taken from
- | | the MK Remix and MK Dub. {NTSC}
- EMOTIONS | 70k| "Emotions" The very first original composition I ever did.
- | | Done back in mid 1990, it's a sort of New Age piece inspired
- | | by the second MOD I ever got in my collection called "Rainy
- | | Night" by Frederick Motte, as well as my sudden interest in
- | | the work of Jean-michel Jarre. {NTSC}
- FASTER |118k| "Faster than Zero" One of my more experimental MODs that I
- | | wrote while I was just starting to get into writing MODs with
- | | Noisetracker. Sort of an alternative/technoish piece. {NTSC}
- HUMANITY |296k| Humanity 1994 - the latest TOC Production (11/11/94). {PAL}
- HUMANIT2 |310k| Humanity 1994 (Fledge Mix) - Another original! (11/11/94) {PAL}
- INFOHACK |487k| "Infohack" Part two (part one has not yet seen completion) in
- | | "The Information Society Ultramixes" An Ultramix featuring a
- | | blend of songs from the album "Hack", plus some of own original
- | | bits thrown in for good measure. (Hence: Ultramix) Samples
- | | from the original songs. {NTSC}
- INFOPEAC |540k| "Infopeace (Part 1)" Part Three in "The Information Society
- | | Ultramixes" An Ultramix featuring a mix of songs from the
- | | album "Peace & Love, Inc." plus, as usual, my own original
- | | bits. Samples from the original songs. {NTSC}
- INFOPEC2 |579k| "Infopeace (Part 2)" Part Four in "The Information Society
- | | Ultramixes" As part one, but different songs from the same
- | | album. Samples from the original songs. {NTSC}
- LITEN_UP |209k| "Lighten Up" An original techno/dance piece. One of my newer
- | | compositions where I began to experiment with harmony and
- | | rhythm and a bit of funk. {NTSC}
- LUCID_DR |343k| "Lucid Dreaming" An original composition that I think is one
- | | my best pieces to date. An alternative piece (generally
- | | because I really don't know how to classify this one) with
- | | samples taken from a MOD called "The Beginning" which had
- | | beautiful samples, but which didn't even attempt to make good
- | | use of them. So I did. {NTSC}
- LUCID_II |374k| "Lucid Dreaming Part II" The sequel to "Lucid Dreaming", it
- | | follows in its predecessor's footsteps while still being
- | | completely original. Uses most of the same samples, though
- | | more have been added. {PAL}
- LUCIDIII |380k| "Lucid Dreaming Part III" The last part in the Lucid Dreaming
- | | triliogy. Same samples as part II, but with a decidedly
- | | different sound. {PAL}
- MAGICAL |549k| "Magical Mix", a Megamix of 808 State songs taken from the
- | | albums "808 United: 90" and "EX:EL" Samples taken from the
- | | original songs. {NTSC}
- ONEINTEN |576k| "One In Ten (Sympathetic)", an original remix of 808 State's
- | | tune from the "One In Ten" CD Single (original from the album
- | | "Gorgeous") Sampled from the "UB40 Vocal" and "UB40
- | | Instrumental" mixes, it's my second largest MOD. And
- | | coincidentally, the running time of this remix is 8:08. {PAL}
- TWOINTEN |621k| "One In Ten (Apathetic)" The second original remix of this 808
- | | State tune, this one is based on the 7" and Original mixes of
- | | the song, with a bit of the Fast FON Mix thrown in among my own
- | | perks. My largest MOD to date, but you'll know why it's so
- | | big when you hear it. {PAL}
- REDCARPT |285k| "Red Carpet" A sort of New Age piece I did a couple of years
- | | ago; it's not especially good, even I'll admit that, but it's
- | | the sort of song you'll either like or not. Samples taken
- | | from a truly awful MOD called "Crimez of Hate" by someone who
- | | really hasn't a clue. {NTSC}
- REMIX_OF |343k| "Remix of Darkness" Oddly enough, this isn't a remix. It's
- | | actually an entirely new techno/dance-ish piece done by me,
- | | but all the samples were from a MOD of a similar name that I
- | | can't quite remember. {NTSC}
- SOMETHIN |518k| "Something To Do (Oil Stained Mix)" An original remix of this
- | | Depeche Mode tune from the album "Some Great Reward" Samples
- | | taken from the single mix, Metal Mix, and the snare drum was
- | | from another MOD. (I needed one loud enough and solid enough
- | | to substitute for the real snare that I couldn't sample) {NTSC}
- STRANGEL |524k| "Strangelove (Sea of Dub)" An original remix of this Depeche
- | | Mode tune from the album "Music for the Masses" Samples taken
- | | from the single mix, Blind mix, Hijack Remix and Pain mix.
- | | It's gotten some positive reviews, apparently! {NTSC}
- SUBHUMAN |229k| "Subhumanity" An original composition, sort of techno, sort of
- | | alternative, sort of New Age. It's hard to classify. {NTSC}
- ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ
