  89.                o AmigaWorld udregner FØRST størrelsen på landevinduet og
  90.                     SÅ åbner den det. Ikke flere kæmpe vinduer, der bliver
  91.                     formindskede senere hen!
  92.                o Hvis dataene omkring et land allerede bliver vist, kan du
  93.                     ikke åbne dets vindue igen.
  94.                o Få synlige forbedringer , f.eks. i det vindue, som viser
  95.                     sig når en fejl forekommer i landenes data.
  96.                o Freeware og den fulde version bruger nu den samme output fil.
  97.                     De få forskellige output tekster holdes nu internt.
  98.                o Hver eneste tekst i 'awo.data' havde en maximum længde på
  99.                     80 tegn i ældre versioner. Nu kan de tekster, der bliver
  100.                     vist i lande vinduet være 120 tegn bred, de andre (til
  101.                     søgningsfunktionen) dog kun 30 tegn. Det er derfor nogle
  102.                     data bliver mere præcise, uden at bruge mere hukommelse.

  105. Version 2.01   o Det er nu muligt at få en liste over et land og alle dens
  106. (01-jul-1993)       bilande ved at indtaste dens forkortelse i søgningsfeltet

  119. (07-mar-1994)  o Line two of 'awo.output' does now contain the char which
  120.                     divides decimal numbers, i.e. either point or comma.
  121.                o Three dependencies were added: Åland, Ashmore/Cartier and
  122.                     Galapagos.
  123.                o The flags of several dependencies were added.
  124.                o The location line in the data file can contain more than
  125.                     one entry now, making the search function more efficient.
  126.                o The source code is not included in the fully funtional
  127.                     version anymore. Nobody was interested anyway, and I
  128.                     spend one diskette and a bit of copying time less.
  129.                o The price of AmigaWorld has increased (it's the inflation,
  130.                     you know?). You have to pay ten more Deutsche Mark to
  131.                     receive the fully functional version. Clever users can
  132.                     claim to have read the doc files of an older version.

  134. Version 3.0    o If you click on the little map with the left mouse button
  135. (02-jun-1994)       a big world map pops up. Now you can select a continent
  136.                     that does also appear on a map. When clicking on a country
  137.                     its data will be displayed.
  138.                o The map window contains a little menu. When you select the
  139.                     item "description" a text about the continent on the map
  140.                     will be displayed.
  141.                o Until now, the selection in the country list was restored by
  142.                     clicking the little map. This function belongs to a new
  143.                     item in the "Selection" menu now.
  144.                o The country windows also have got a little menu: The first
  145.                     item is not implemented yet, the second one makes Amiga-
  146.                     World display one of its ten maps, showing the country's
  147.                     location.
  148.                o The third item enables you to get a list of all dependencies
  149.                     of a country; or to call the data of its mother country.
  150.                o The "Sort" menu of the main window contains one more item:
  151.                     It enables you to turn around the order of the country
  152.                     list.
  153.                o The procedure that displays text about continents, organiz-
  154.                     ations (and soon countries) works with bold, italic and
  155.                     red text now.
  156.                o You can softly scroll up and down in these text by using two
  157.                     arrows. I like it better then the proportinal gadget.
  158.                o The arrangement of the interlace screen has been extremely
  159.                     improved, waste of space was reduced. All countries of
  160.                     a continent can now be displayed in the list at once.
  161.                o The file "awo.output" contains 50 more lines, for new output
  162.                     texts. Therefore it is not compatible with older versions
  163.                     of AmigaWorld.

  165. Version 3.1    o This new version was developed with version 4.3 of the
  166. (30-jul-1994)       m2Amiga system.
  167. [Fred Fish,    o It contains a new routine for reading IFF files that replaces
  168.  other              the old one which was faster but contained a bug.
  169.  PD-series,    o If Kickstart 2.0 is available windows have got the "new look"
  170.  several            i.e. they are somewhat 3d-like.

  173.                o A bug was fixed: The memory for menu strips and items is
  174.                     deallocated as soon as a window is closed, not any more

  177. Version 4.0    o AmigaWorld displays a text about nature, population, economy
  178. (30-aug-1994)       and history of a country. About 80% of the texts are done,
  179.                     the other ones will be finished in a few months. Author of
  180.                     these informative texts is Bo Arnholm who has already
  181.                     translated AmigaWorld into Swedish!
  182.                o Includes data on Palestine.

  184. Version 4.1    o Includes a text about each and every country! But some do not
  185. (27-sep-1994)       contain information on economy and history.

  188. Version 4.2    o AmigaWorld co-operates with graphic expansions in a better
