  1. Please see Hangman.inf for most complete information but this will get you started:

  4. HNGMANxx.ZIP  (xx indicates the version number where 10 would indicate
  5.         version 1.0, 11 would indicate version 1.1, etc.)

  8. Install.EXE    Installation program
  9. Hangman.hlp    Hangman on-line help program
  10. Hangman.inf    Hangman help/information in view format. (double-click to read)
  11. Readme.txt    This file
  12. SampWord.hng    Hangman sample word list
  13. Hangfold.ico    The hangman folder icon
  14. Hangman.exe    The hangman main program.

  19. 1. Go to the directory where you decompressed the Hangman package.
  20. 2. Type  Install
  21. 3. Follow the directions on the screen.
  22. 4. You are done!

  27. Alternate Installation Method:

  31.    Extract the archive (you probably already did that!) into a directory
  32. (c&colon.\games\hangman is used in this text).  To run the game, change to that
  33. directory (c&colon.\games\hangman) and type "Hangman".

  35. To install the game onto the Presentation Manager Desktop:
  36. ══════════════════════════════════════════
  37.    After extracting the files into a directory (see above), go back to the
  38. Desktop and open the "OS/2 System" folder, then the "Drives" folder, then
  39. open the "C" folder, then the "Games" folder, then open the "Hangman"
  40. folder.  Click the second mouse button over Hangman.exe and select "Create
  41. Shadow."  Create a shadow on the desktop by selecting "Desktop."  You
  42. may now start the game by double-clicking on the Hangman icon on the
  43. desktop.  Put the icon in a sub-folder if you wish.  Personally, I have
  44. created a shadow in the "Games" folder.
