  10. DESCRIPTION: MAH JONGG is a solitaire game played with Chinese tiles.
  11. The rules are quite simple and easy to learn, but success in the game
  12. requires strategy and concentration. The object of the game is to
  13. remove all 144 tiles from the playing surface one pair at a time. To
  14. get started either read the .doc file, or just start up the game and
  15. view the help screens to learn how to play.

  17. REQUIREMENTS: Mah Jongg runs in 640x350, 16 color graphics, thus an
  18. EGA or VGA card is required. Alternatively, you can run in 720x348
  19. monochrome Hercules graphics if you have a Hercules compatible card.
  20. CGA, Tandy graphics, etc. are not supported and no version for these
  21. modes is available.

  23. SHAREWARE: Mah Jongg is distributed as Shareware. You are free to try
  24. the game and make copies for others. If you continue to use the game,
  25. however, you must pay the author a registration fee of $15 (plus $2
  26. shipping/handling); in return you'll receive a copy of the latest
  27. version of the program, a setup utility and additional tile sets and
  28. board layouts. A "deluxe" version is available for $22 (plus $4
  29. shipping/handling) which includes a binder, printed manual and
  30. reference card in addition to the program itself. Please note that
  31. all prices are U.S. dollars and that there is a $2 charge for 3.5"
  32. diskettes.

  89. MAHJONGG:  Addictive solitaire game played with Chinese tiles.  Very

  101. TMATCH:    Tile Match is a variation on concentration solitaire or
  102.            "memory", but adds multiple player versions (up to four
  103.            players) or play against the computer.  Many scoring and
  104.            difficulty settings allow use by any age player.  Uses
  105.            the same tiles for playing pieces as Mah Jongg solitaire
  106.            and includes the tile editor.

  108. TILESETS:  Several collections of tile sets created by various
  109.            Mah Jongg fans are available.  Each collection includes
  110.            at least ten tile sets.  Requires Mah Jongg v3.3 or later
  111.            or any version of Tile Match.

  113. CIPHER:    A word puzzle game, yet it uses hi-res VGA or EGA graphics
  114.            for displays (mouse optional).  Also will run in text mode.
  115.            Includes over 30 puzzles to solve; registered version comes
  116.            with over 200 additional puzzles.  You can also enter your
  117.            own already encrypted puzzles.  Additional puzzle disks are
  118.            available.  Available in MS-DOS or Windows versions.

  120. SHOOT:     "Shooting Gallery" is a colorful arcade game with several
  121.            different rounds to test your aim and reflexes, including
  122.            skeet, quick draw, carnival type shooting range and a wild 
  123.            west shootout.  Uses 320x200, 256 color mode and a mouse to
  124.            play.  Requires VGA or MCGA.

  156. BASSMAP:   Companion program for BassTour which allows lakes to be
  157.            created or modified.  EGA and CGA versions provided.

  161. These programs are probably available on your favorite BBS or from
  162. your favorite disk vendors. To register them or to order direct, use
  163. the form in the file "orderfrm.txt" which is all ready to print. The
  164. "deluxe" version includes the registered software on diskette, plus a
  165. binder and printed manual (some programs also include quick reference
  166. cards). The standard version includes just the diskette with the
  167. registered software. Note: the actual software is the same in both the
  168. standard and deluxe versions. You can also use your VISA or MasterCard
  169. to order on-line thru the support BBS, Xevious, at 508-788-6951. Use
  170. the command "CREDIT" to order.
