  1. GALAGA 94 V2.1 AND DIGITAL SOUND FX:
  2. ────────────────────────────────────
  3. This version of GALAGA 94 supports digital sound fx. The standard driver
  4. for the Sound Blaster V2.0 (Creative Labs) is included. This driver is
  5. compatible only to some cards. If you have a SB Pro or SB 16 / 32 or any
  6. other Card with a higher standard than the SB 2.0, you have to do as fol-
  7. lows to make it work with GALAGA:

  9. Search for a driver which supports the CT-VOICE format. Any Creative Labs
  10. soundcard has such a driver, only the names are slightly different. For
  11. Example the driver included in the SB16-Package may be called CTV16.DRV or 
  12. so... I am sorry that I did not have the time to collect all this drivers
  13. and include them.
  14. When you have found your driver, copy it into the GALAGA directory and
  15. rename it to FX_SB.DRV ! (You probably will have to delete or rename the
  16. old driver first...)

  18. Then install the driver with SETUP.EXE and ... enjoy !

  20. I gave this game to a lot of beta-testers before I posted it. It worked
  21. without any Problems on ALL SOUNBLASTER CARDS and the THUNDERBOARD.

  23. little update...
