  1. Hardware requirements.
  2. The minimum recommended configuration for WATCOM VX∙REXX is a 20 megahertz 386
  3. personal computer with 8 megabytes of memory.
  4.  
  5. Software requirements.
  6. IBM OS/2 version 2.0 with the OS/2 Service Pak or higher must be installed. 
  7. If you are  running OS/2 2.0 without the OS/2 Service Pak, you must obtain it from IBM
  8. and install it. The Service Pak required is IBM number XR06055. You can obtain it from
  9. the IBM OS/2 BBS, from CompuServe, or directly from IBM.
  10. Contact your IBM representative for more information.

  12. The OS/2 REXX interpreter must also be installed.  If you do not have OS/2 REXX installed, 
  13. you can add it by using the OS/2 Selective Install utility. (If REXX is installed on your 
  14. system your \OS2\DLL directory will contain four REXX files: REXX.DLL,
  15. REXXAPI.DLL, REXXUTIL.DLL, and REXXINIT.DLL.

  17. This program also requires the run time library VROBJ.DLL to run. The OS/2 LIBPATH variable
  18. must include the directory that contains VROBJ.DLL. The LIBPATH variable is defined in
  19. the OS/2 CONFIG.SYS file. Note that you must reboot OS/2 before any changes to the LIBPATH
  20. will take effect. In addition please make sure that the help (sfn.hlp) file is copied into a library
  21. defined in the path statement in your config.sys file.

  23. VROBJ.DLL has been included with this program.

  25. Installation intructions:
  26. 1) Use PKUNZIP2 to unzip and copy VROBJ.DLL, SFN.EXE, SFNINST.CMD and README.SFN
  27. into a library in your LIBPATH on your computer. 
  28. 2) Run SFNINST.CMD to create 6/49 folder and program object.
