  1. Daniel's Checkers Challenge

  3. This game was written over Christmas 1995 as a gift to my son Daniel.
  4. I did it partly because we were both tired of him beating me (did I
  5. mention he's only six?), and partly as a modern-day version of making
  6. him a present with my own hands.

  8. Please send comments and suggestions for the game if you'd like.  Both
  9. my mail and CompuServe addresses are shown in the "About" box.

  11. To install, just copy the CHECKERS.EXE and CHECKERS.HLP files to a
  12. directory (keeping them together).  From File Manager or Explorer or
  13. Norton Navigator or wherever, double click CHECKERS.EXE to run.  Or
  14. add it to a program group, menu, or the desktop as you desire.
