Transcription: Use a glass or a clear plastic measuring cup. Place the cup on a level surface. Bend down to read the markings on the measuring cup. Add the amount of liquid you need. Don't lift the cup off the counter to read it because it's difficult to hold the cup so it's level. When using measuring spoons, pour the liquid just to the top of the spoon without letting it spill over. Don't measure over the mixing bowl or saucepan because the liquid could splash from the spoon into the bowl.
