  1. WEE WOBBLERS
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. White crafts glue
  5. 2 cotton balls (any color)
  6. Scissors
  7. 2 tiny construction-paper circles, buttons, or shaky eyes
  8. Construction paper
  9. Clay or play dough
  10. Plastic eggshell halves or clean, fresh eggshell halves
  11.  
  12. STEP 1
  13. First make the baby chick's body, by gluing the cotton balls together. 
  14.  
  15. Then glue on the paper circles for the eyes.  If you like you can use a paper punch to make the eyes.  Punch holes out of paper, ribbon or fabric,  and then glue them on the bird's head.

  17. Next, cut out a bird's beak from construction paper.  First, fold a small piece of paper in half. Then cut a tiny triangle on the fold, and glue it onto the cotton-ball face.

  19. STEP 2
  20. Roll a piece of clay into a ball about the size of a marble.  Then press the clay into the rounded bottom of the plastic eggshell half.

  22. Place your baby chick into the eggshell half.
  23.  
  24. Now gently tap the egg and watch it wobble around!
  25.  
  26. And that's the way to make wee wobblers!

  30. Watch your kids make unique wobblers with colored paper, fabric, ribbon, lace, buttons, dried beans, crafts feathers, or sequins.
