  1. PUPPET PALS
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Scissors
  5. Small paper bag
  6. Construction paper or felt
  7. Tape
  8. Markers or crayons
  9.  
  10. STEP 1
  11. First make the puppet head. Cut shapes out of construction paper or felt.  
  12.  
  13. Now tape the shapes to the bag.
  14.  
  15. STEP 2
  16. Draw stripes or spots on your puppet pal.  Personalize your puppet pal anyway you want!
  17.  
  18. Now put your hand inside the bag.  To make your puppet's talk, just open and shut your hand!

  20. That's it! You've made your very own puppet pal!

  23. FOR GROWN-UPS:
  24. Before your children begin decorating their bags, let them try the bags on for size. If the bags extend beyond their elbows, cut 1 to 2 inches off of the bottom. It√ïll be easier for little arms and hands to move the puppets.
