  1. PASTA PYTHON

  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Crayons or markers
  5. Construction paper
  6. Scissors
  7. One 25-inch-long piece of ribbon
  8. Tape
  9. Uncooked or dyed rigatoni 
  10. Rattlesnake tail
  11. 10 kernels of unpopped popcorn
  12.  
  13. STEP 1
  14. For the head, draw an egg shape on the construction paper.  Cut it out and draw eyes on it.  Place the head face down on the work surface.

  16. Cut 2 short pieces of the ribbon for the tongue.  Tape them to the narrow end of the head.  Tape the long piece of ribbon to the wide end of the head.

  18. STEP 2
  19. Thread the ribbon through a piece of rigatoni.  Push the rigatoni piece to the head.  Continue to thread rigatoni pieces on the ribbon until the ribbon is almost full.

  22. Fold the tail on the fold lines.  Unfold the tail.  Put popcorn in the center of the tail.

  24. Fold the tail, overlapping the sides to cover the popcorn.  Tape shut and fold the straight unfolded side up toward the point.  Tape shut.  Tape the folded edge of the tail to the end of the ribbon.
