  1. MAKE-BELIEVE MAILBAG
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. 1 large paper bag
  5. Masking tape
  6. Crayons or markers
  7. Stapler
  8. 1 strip of cloth or piece of yarn, about 24 inches long
  9.  
  10. STEP 1
  11. Begin by folding down the top edge of the paper sack -- about 3 inches.  Be sure to fold the edge toward the inside of the sack.  
  12.  
  13. Then tape the edge to the inside of the sack.
  14.  
  15. STEP 2
  16. Now decorate the mailbag any way you like.
  17.  
  18. STEP 3
  19. For the shoulder strap, tape or staple the ends of the cloth to the inside of the sack.  If you use a stapler, get an adult to help you.

  21. Now you can pretend to be a mailman with your make-believe mailbag!

  24. SOME COOL IDEAS:
  25. Try decorating your letters and envelopes with stickers, stamps, colors, or drawings. And don't forget to try the Licky Sticky Stamp project!
