  1. FLOUNDER FUN

  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Tissue paper, torn into small pieces, or crayons
  5. White crafts glue or paste
  6. One 6x12-inch piece of foil
  7. One 12-inch piece of yarn or string
  8. One stick, about 20 inches long
  9. Paper plate
  10. Scissors

  12. STEP 1
  13. First make the paper-plate fish:
  14.  
  15. Fold one paper plate in half.  
  16.  
  17. With an adult's help, use a sharp pair of scissors to poke a hole in the folded plate.

  19. Next, cut a hole to make two eyes.
  20.  
  21. Then cut out a notch to resemble a fish tail at the opposite end of the plate.

  23. STEP 2
  24. Lay your paper-plate fish flat.  
  25.  
  26. Then glue the pieces of tissue paper to the plate to look like fish scales.  Or color the plate any color you like.

  28. STEP 3
  29. Now make the fish hook:

  31. Crumple and shape the foil to look like a hook.

  33. STEP 4
  34. Tie one end of the yarn to the foil hook.  
  35.  
  36. Tie the other end of the yarn to the stick.
  37.  
  38. Now you're ready to fish!  Stand your fish up on the floor.  Then hold the fishing pole and try to get the foil hook through the fish's eye.
