Bacterial, fusarium, and verticillium wilts are three of the worst diseases in the garden. The diseases infect many different crops, causing the plants to turn yellow, wilt, and die. Prevent the disease by purchasing resistant varieties. Rotate crops each year, and kill insects such as cucumber beetles with sprays.
