Does well in any well-drained soil, including desert, mountain, or coastal areas. Its creeping stems spread out quickly and make hardy cover for large area. Good to grow between rocks. Space plants 12 to 24 inches apart. Easy to start new plants by divisions of old plants, by seeds, or by cuttings. When plants get scraggly, cut back to stimulate new, fresh appearance.
